This was my first parade, so thanks to Klondike for advice on where to start looking for my parade viewing spot. I used a small digital camera, so my pictures aren't always in perfect focus for the parade shots. They are much better when taken in Gasworks. There were several guys next to me with cameras on tripods, so hopefully their pictures will show up somewhere on the web. I started at the big painting party, but quickly realized I wouldn't get in and would miss the parade if I waited there for them to leave. So, I walked the course and found an area near the end of the parade where the riders had to make a hard turn - figuring they would slow down for the turn. Most of them didn't slow down, so it was hit or miss whether I got a shot in focus. Eventually, I should have about 60+ pics to post.

That's a nasty sunburn she has. Its a bit late now for her to have sunscreen applied.

Anyone notice if the Centurion was there this year?
Last year had a centurion's helmet and red and yellow paint job and had the girls lining up to have their photos taken with his enormous cock.

Missing Riders
 

These two women have been regulars for a few years now, and I haven't seen them this year. Has anyone spotted them, or do we think they have taken the year off?

hi, thanks for your insight and the pictures. you tell us how difficult it is to get decent focussed pictures. i think it is a nightmare. if you dare to look at the vidclips [i avoid them] you see how fast they move. hats off to you and clickr, DavinS, Pedro and all the other contributors who post their pics here and on flickr.

The lady with the blond wig did ride this year. She's a favorite of mine and I always keep a look out for her. This year she was painted up as Sonny (short dark hair with mustache and sun glasses) and her male partner as Cher (with long black wig). Here's a link to a copyrighted photo :
