Hot springs Santa Fé, nr Granada, Spain - LOTS of nudity
I wanted to create a new thread but I need to post 10 replies first, how frustrating. So this seems the most apt thread to post in that's recent. Anyway...
The Hot springs Santa Fé, nr Granada, Spain sounds like an untapped resource for some great sneaky photography! I hear about people going a lot. Pedro the Fisherman may know about this though I think he's further up the coast? It's almost all year round and in fact can be more popular in Winter as you go from cold to hot, not 40c air temp to 35c water temp! Santa fé is close to Granada airport in the south of Spain (Andalucia). This is a local Granada hostel talking about it (scroll right to the bottom): oasisgranada.com/en/attractions.html (naked backpackers!!) Has anyone been? Can anyone go? I'm assured great nudity, mainly hippies but that doesn't both me... |

Here is a thread dedicated to the topic: https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/showthread.php?t=44775 By the way - the picture below is the one from the website tobzzz is referring to. Call me crazy but I would assume that a picture referring to naked backpackers would generally show some backpackers who are perhaps without clothing. Cheers and hippie peace to all! |

Those mentioned cities are all old historic cities with a roman tradition and for example Nîmes is having an old Roman coliseum in a good condition for their age. Also not forget to mention that this region is well known for their topless and nude beaches!!! (Cap d'Agde is in this region) ;) |

ever hear of Frolicon? Me neither.....
OK, Frolicon takes place every year in Atlanta, Ga and bills itself as an adult sci fi convention. I like both adult and sci fi, so maybe its worth keeping an eye on. I doubt I'll be posting too much in the next few months, this being the time of year I usually take a break. Come May and June, though, check back as I'll return and keep posting most new stuff that I find in this thread. cheers, klondike |

Years before Ian Fleming had James Bond discover them in "You Only Live Twice ", I had a fascination with ama, the woman fisher/divers of Japan (yes I realize how that dates me, but remember, it was a late Bond, and I was precocious). Unlike Klondike's earlier-posted "Tribal Women," they generally were fully dressed, except at work, where they wore a precursor of the bikini, minus the top, often more like "le minimum" worn "in town" by nudists at Ile du Levant. Eventually, and especially after WWII, they gradually were forced to cover up, often wearing white robelike garments to dive, but there are still pictures of the good old days. Here's a sampling:

Crispus, I would love to see a separate thread devoted to this. It is worthy of its own and might attract additional pics if posted separately. Buried deep inside this thread, it is likely to get passed over or quickly forgotten. Just a thought...
thanks for an excellent post - Klondike |

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I suspect you overestimate the appeal (at least to most of the known universe!) or supply of pictures on this theme; and I am certain you underestimate the amount of attention your threads in general, and this one in particular, garner. There has been a film (caps here), "glamor"/arty shots of the women, and even cheesecake based on the archetype; there has also been a book (titled "Island of the Fisherwomen" in the edition I have, "Hekura: The Diving Girls' Island" in the other); there is also a website ( http://www.fundoshi-bikini.net/nihon...afundoshi.html is the best page for this topic), though it remains tantalizing to me, since so many thumbnails' enlargement links have been severed.
