Yeah, I understand that it probably isn't the model's choice (even though it probably would be for most of them anyway). And I certainly understand that the point of photographing a show like this is for the product to be seen so the pictures do have to be mainstream media acceptable to reach the consumer. I was merely presenting my view that it seems hypocritical since the point of a see-thru piece of lingerie is to be able to see what is underneath. The see-thru characteristic is what sets it apart from other lingerie after all, right? I suppose one could argue that you can still see through the actual garment being modeled even though you see a more mainstream media acceptable skin colored panty which demonstrates the effectiveness of the see-thru characteristic through illusion. That would certainly negate my view, but I guess, at the end of the day, it comes down to the fact that I'd just prefer to see the sn*tch instead of the skin colored panties. And I was using this thread as a place to say it indirectly hoping for a bit of conversation about the matter. I apologize to the original poster if this was not the correct place to discuss. It just seemed the correct place since the topic is actually viewable in a lot of the pictures in the thread. It appears, though, that it may not matter since there has only been one reply to my post anyway. Thanks adorenues for your reply. Thank you OP for the pictures. Regardless of my view, I still enjoy the pictures. :D |
