That pic of the smiling woman in wine-red lingerie is one of my favourite 'rebuttal pics' whenever someone argues that 1990s hi-cut panties weren't sexy. These are gorgeous, too bad we don't get to see her butt in them!

This is a great ad. Wouldn't you like to walk into your bedroom and meet her.

I agree. The 80's hi-cut bikinis were the sexiest panties (especially if they were silk or satin). They make a woman's legs look longer, and compliment her natural curves. Why the hell anyone thinks thongs are sexy is beyond me.

High-Cut vs Low-Cut
 

Not only that, the way they hugged their butts and made them look bigger yet still very pert was so sweet. Probably because they were often very tight-fitting, which is another plus in my book. Low-cut/hipster panties look to me like they make their butts appear smaller and kind of hide the lovely waist-to-hip ratio.

I hate that high-cuts are being called granny panties nowadays. Thongs are okay, but they sort of defeat the enhancing purpose of sexy underwear.

I'd certainly do, but I'm a big manchild in the fun/playful sense of the term. I tend to fantasize more about things like lifting her skirt from behind when she bends over or winning a fun pantsing-war against her. Other sort of games may happen or not afterwards. :p

Why 1990s high-cuts were the best
 

True that! That's yet another reminder of my aging though.:D

I couldn't help but notice you've just posted textbook examples of the three things that made high-cuts the sexiest underwear ever. If I had to explain to younger guys why these were amazing it'd be;

Exhibit 1, left: making women's legs look much longer, 'legs-for-days'.

Exhibit 2, center: making women's butts look bigger yet not fat, just kind of 'longer', these panties were often so snug that also gave their bums a lovely 'bubbliness' modern low-cuts fail to achieve.

Exhibit 3, right: enhancing women's waist-to-hip ratio into that sweet 'hornet waist' without looking unnaturally thin.

It seems they've been making sort of a comeback lately, but with smaller seats a la Brazilian bikinis. Lovely, but I prefer the classic 1990s full butt coverage bikini brief much more. I'm just weird like that.
