Having thought more about the subject, I must admit to having a very irrational view about net exposure. While I'd love to do something like going to Burning Man wearing only paint, or riding the WNBR, I wouldn't be comfortable with pics showing me naked in such public events. I'm okay with pics from the much smaller festival that I went to, since they don't show me 'showing off' in front of thousands of people. It's a bit like "Sure, I'm naked, but it's only among friends", so it's more about the context in which the pics are taken then about the number of people being able to see them afterward.
It's completely irrational, but that's how I feel. At least for now, but maybe I'll change my mind about that Burning Man thing in the future :).

I would love to know a bit more about your experiences at that festival, if it is the UK, I am pretty sure I know which it is.

There are a few hippie/spiritual festivals to choose from, and I recommend them! Even 'mainstream people' (i.e. non hippies) seem to like those events. There's everything from mantra singing to comedy acts. As an added bonus, nude swimming is common on the festivals I've been to. The swim was particularly pleasant when we were painted, as a girl helped me get the paint of by rubbing my backside with sand in the water. Nothing erotic, but very, very pleasant :).

As a rider in WNBRs, I have seen pictures of myself popping up from time to time (usually in a collection, obviously taken by a gay man!!) but I have no problems with it.

Man, I envy your courage to do the WNBR!
