Can you learn anything useful in a comic book?

I remember one day, in the sandbox, a guy in my unit was looking in my foot locker, with my permission, for a small bottle of whiskey I smuggled in. He came back laughing because he found Desitin, mini pads, and woolite in my locker.
Rather than react, I smiled at him and just told him he would understand before our tour was over

Before the month was out, he and several others were walking around like they had been riding horses, their testicles on fire from cheap laundry soap and sweat. I was quite comfy.

New boots, no problems, no blisters, mini pads for the heels and soles.

Did you have someone special this year or did you have to go looking?

I had a wonderful time, it was magical. Then I had to leave town and help out at a special class. It pays very well, so I could not say no. The return home was even better than I had hoped.
