John Cornicello at Flickr has his copyrighted pics from the Fremont Parade up.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/cornice...7620015839917/

The pics are small, but John has a really good collection showing a wide variety of women on bikes. In fact, it might be the closest thing to a "reference set" of female bikers. In otherwords, if one wanted to play the numbers game, or find out who rode from year to year, etc you could look at his collection and comb through it. My estimate is that as many as 150 women rode yesterday. Maybe more. That may be more pics than John has, but he could have up to 80-90 percent of the women riders in his gallery. I don't know. In any case, I thought some might be interested.

EDIT: here's a flickr pic I don't think I've seen posted yet.

Klondike, do you have any more shots of the 'dreadlock blonde', I have looked everywhere and cannot find her anywhere except on your paint party shot. Her paint scheme should really stand out too.

the silver polka dot girl was really hot, but unfortunately when I wheeled to get the first shot, I didn't have my camera set, and the pic didn't come out in really sharp focus at fs. So.....I had to downsize it. The second pic shows how close she really was. I have more pics, but mostly side views or butt shots.

since I still have so many pics left, it might help if you all speak up and tell me what you'd like to see more of. For example, I have tons of pics of the 2007, roller skating "spider woman" (if you recall, she wore a black widow spider paint job and hosted a youtube vid).

So, let me know. Here is my next set. enjoy,

Oh man, Sal - thats the motherlode. I missed all that. I have to find out when those were taken. Possibly, the group of riders that I talked about making a u-turn eventually made their way back to Gasworks Park. I don't know. Those pics are awesome, especially the five blue babes. I saw them earlier, but didn't manage to get all five of them together.

great stuff!

Aha!! The one of the chocolate girls from last year!! The last girl in your set (painted blue)...I'm sure that's her! Thanks so much for sharing, would love to make it to this event one day!:)

Sal's pics on this page were very frusturating for me to see. here's why: I spend quite a bit of time and expense coming up here. And so I don't want to miss something hot that may be going on 100ft away from where I am standing. But I totally missed this action on top of the hill! Why? Its the way the park is laid out! There is this big hill, and just on the far side there is a little memorial. But none of this can you see from the main part of the park. Its JUST over the crest! And so I stood at the base of that hill and looked up, contemplated hiking it, etc - but NEVER did. You simply can't see people if they are over that crest. And there were a shitload of nudes there as you can see from the pics. I think they have done this two years in a row now, and so after I saw Sal's pics, I HAD to drive back over to the park to check it out. I'm still in Seattle, and its not too far. And thats when I discovered this little paved circle with the memorial. Thats where those pics were taken.

Anyway, as riders come into Gasworks Park, they split up. Some hang outside. Some go into the park one way. Some take a left fork and head in another way. Its difficult to know where to be, and there is no place you can stand and see everybody. So what I'm trying to say is, trying to cover these events can be frusturating. I'm not looking for forgiveness, because I know I got lots of good pics anyway. But when I saw that pic of those five drop dead gorgeous blue girls, my heart sank. I knew then that I had missed the biggest prize of all. I believe I was right there in the park when those pics were taken, and could have been there in under a minute. So all I have to say is - DANG! and then DANG! again, and then finally......THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT YEAR!!!

Your such a champion. Don't be too hard on yourself about missing the good locations. I (and lots of others here) very much appreciate the effort you go to. I certainly wish I could have been there to see all the fun (instead of here in Sydney), so you are one step ahead of me, and most others - you dirty pervert.... lol

Take care (and keep up the good work)

Bye

Thanks, Nekeb and Sal

The crowd at the top spilled over onto the near slope where I could see them. Those people are the ones I snapped in the first pic below. But the motherload was behind that red painted dude. Just how much of a motherload that was is now painfully obvious from the pics.

Its OK. I've live.......maybe.......

Now looking on the bright side, the rest of the pics below that show the viking girls I probably would have missed had I been on top of that hill.

Pedro the Fisherman 06-22-2009 03:07 AM

Thanks for finding the 'blonde dreadlock' girl, these young ladies were all together (with the blue girls) and would have been of a similar age group to your famous girls of 2007(?). It is almost impossible to get everybody (and in the detail you have), I have seen photos from WNBRs I have been on and could swear that I did not see this particular girl, but there she is in the photo. On a brighter note, the blue paint does not really show of their attributes as well the partial paint the girls in the 'famous five' group did.

I have another request (if I may), the Star Trek group (in particular the one in purple:o) is the total epitamy of a 'Pedro's ordinary girls'. Despite being just the sort of thing to get into shots (ie topical and amusing) they do not feature much in the Flikr shots, so far.

I have saved all of the 'b' images into a zip, which I will post after a sample of its contents. It sure was a pain in the ass to download these pics, but I don't live locally with an awesome camera, so it's the least that I could do....

Note: This flickr user may well post more images, but I have collected all images up to the purple monster-head girl in the photostream.
