.....nude female athletes have such a huge audience let's say as models, actresses....otherwise Interviu
most likely would still be featuring them....ESPN did a nice job of showing them without being too "risque"

Well, ESPN Body issue is extremely successful, so there must be an audience for female athletes. But there have also been feminist driven discussions about showing nude female athletes beeing sexist. I often read in the press, that female athletes should convince the audience through their accomplishments rather than their bodies. (Nobody seems to have the same problem when it comes to nude male athletes, notorious double standard.)
But maybe this discussion makes female athletes shy away from posing naked. It´s a shame but it´s zeitgeist.

Well as a Dutchman, i speak more than fluent Dutch. :D
But unfortunately, so far as i can reed on their homepage, the calendar is only available directly by one of the girls or someone from the staff. However, i might send an e-mail and ask if i could buy one.

Tonight in the news show "Hart van Nederland" on SBS6 commercial tv station there was an item about the girls of the Dutch rugby team of Dwingeloo who made a sexy calender. They hope to raise a lot of money for the club, but till now the sells are not as expected. In the item you could see that the girls went to the former editor in chief of the Dutch Playboy magazine for some advice. When people, men on the street were asked, they said there must be more nude in the pics.
I also found a photo of an article in a Dutch regional newspaper.
