As in these two, if original filenames were preserved, the search could often be easier; you might even find the unexpected, e.g. that the second, featuring a woman from FEMEN, a Ukrainian protest group some here have followed, was taken in another part of Europe altogether...

About the second pic: that's the S.Peter Cathedral in Vatican City, Rome

wont swear to it, but I think it may be Beaver Oregon.

It's Beaver, Ohio, approx. here on Google maps httx://g.co/maps/xg2d9. The sign has changed but the store behind the school bus is the same (even the dumpster). The village has a very distinctive water tower, just faintly visible in the mist to the left of the sign.

Kansas City MO; for confirmation, see http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-K1rZBAWiv_...0/IMG_4133.jpg and http://media.kickstatic.com/kickapps...4332104_ap.jpg . The first's author was a bit shirty about appropriating pics, the second was way too big to upload for connectivity-challenged folk like moi; latter's site http://ulocal.kmbc.com/_President-Ho.../62690.html?b= should clinch it...

Caljammer, it looks like you are right! I checked out the Birdseye area on Bing Maps, and I could see some of the surrounding buildings. Nice catch!

Has somebody been over at i m a g e f a p ? That at least is where earlier today I got re-acquainted with this blast from the past: yes, it's from Fremont '05; for more on her story, see https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/show...74&postcount=5 , then https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/show...9&postcount=29 , then https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/show...6&postcount=31 . To see what back in '08 I at least was apparently "unanimous in that opinion" was the same woman in '03, see https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/atta...3&d=1214672806 .

If screening for inclusion in "USA" thread, 'fraid you're just over the line: photo was taken from Hilton (1), with backside of casino to near left (2 shows its front), in Niagara Falls, Ontario; view of US side from tower on Canada side (3: see filename), while taken from a higher angle, nonetheless shows two of the distinctive background buildings featured in your photo, including the Giacomo Hotel (brick midrise tower, seen in the left about midway down your model's back).

yeah, thats western Oregon or Washington. I can tell that. But otherwise, i can't come up with a location despite the bridge which should narrow things down considerably. Klondike

Pretty sure it is Oregon, specifically the Chandler Bridge in Coos Bay in the background (center-lift drawbridges are a vanishing breed, so that narrowed the parameters); it crosses the Coos River, and inland from it is an estuary with wetlands, for example the Millicoma Marsh area described at theworldlink.com/sports/outdoors/article_24975834-e621-11e0-a951-001cc4c002e0.html as including "a trail, parking lot, viewing deck and interpretive signs..." The picture may well have been taken at that viewing deck.

Fantastic job Crispus! I was able to determine the location of this pic as well: https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/show...&postcount=151

It is the Strategic Air and Space Museum in Ashland, Nebraska.

you amaze me, Crispus. Just today I passed a bridge west of Portland and I thought about it with regards to this inquiry. But you are always quicker than me..
