Portland sunny nekkid ride 2014
 

The Portland sunny nekkid ride went off without a hitch this afternoon. Hardly anyone was there to document it, which I found strange. It was a beautiful day and among the 100-150 riders were several beautiful young women, like this one below whom I snapped from medium range.

Most of the other pics that I took are sort of like this one. I don't have time to put more up now with the night ride coming up soon. Tonight, I don't expect to take pics but I may sneak a few early (daylight) ones.

Keeping an eye on the latest feeds from Portland... HUGE it is! Ten thousand? That's a marathon ;)

Some years ago there were some great galleries from Spain, but in the last couple ones there's almost nothing. I loved Spanish NBR, specially from Madrid, Valencia and Zaragoza.

I hope this years is better and if anyone could share links or photos from this cities (this or previous years) it would be great.

It's going to be fab mate! I think the ride will huge, so big it will overflow any painting area. The first rest stop will be great for pics, as people relax and are away from the snapping hoards too. FB is about to hit 700 riders in the next hour or so, the majority yong ladies, who have added their names in the past 24 hours, now the sun is forecast. Good luck, will be enjoying the day myself, but will be taking some snaps too!

The ride takes an age (about 3.5 hours +) in total to do the 9 mile route, this is slower if it's a big ride.....like today. I would not be surprised if it's a record ride. I've just got my bike out of the shed and it's hot already, at 9am with a very strong sun factor. Bring your factor 20!

Portland night ride 2014
 

Once again, Portland put on a fabulous night WNBR. A lot changed since last year, too much I'm afraid as I almost completely missed the post ride. Everything seemed shifted north this year - the start point, the after parties, and probably the end location as well. PRevious rides usually ended at the east bank esplanade. Not this year. I wasted several hours trying to track down riders. Sitting at the esplanade location, scattered groups buzzed by me, but didn't stop. They were no doubt headed to one of the numerous after parties.

But, I need to back up a bit. This year unlike previous years, most of the pre ride was in daylight. There should be a ton of great pics on the net from this. It was awesome - a sea of bodies (not new) but in broad daylight now (definately new). It was really cool to get there early as I did and see girls stripping down to the buff to lounge on the park grass in daylight. At 6:30PM they were doing this, and the ride was still 2.5 hours away. Pics will come out looking like London WNBR pics, but with 10,000 or so bodies. There was a lot of pic taking too and somewhat lax enforcement. So all in all, it was an unprecedented opportunity to see Portland girls in all their glory. Irishboy may come through with pics. I took a few (see below) but will hope for others to fill in the gaps.

The girls below were fantastic - two of the best looking girls all night. But I put the camera away after shooting them. It shouldn't matter too much - I'm sure this years crop of photos will finally do justice to this ride. What a night!

BTW - I am desperately wanting to know where the ride ended this year. It looked like they may have finished somewhere north of the official after party on N Mississippi. I cruized by that spot and saw riders coming in from the north. But only about one tenth of the total number of riders seemed to have ended up at that after party (unless they were indoors). The motherload? I'd really like to know.....

portland wnbr last nite
 

easily well over 10,000 people participating. I was near the front and was hanging out at the end for an hour and a half with a constant stream of people coming covering the entire road. Sure, more guys than girls, but with plenty of of awesome, nice & pretty OK looking folks of both sexes and it seems that one-third to half of both the girls and guys were completely commando
