Aaaaaaaand that's all I got. Unless you are members with access to the video section :D

Looking forward to the HD stuff emerging in the next few days (touch wood).

I did not see any large video cameras or camera crews, no.

Yep, unfortunally, i dont have access. Thanks anyway ;)

Well, 21 hours after the event, it looks like there has been absolutely no media coverage of the event whatsoever. The videos provided by our 2 members will probably be the majority of what we get on this one. I guess the papers just decided there was no novelty to it.

More from Tiger Streak 2013

Hi everyone.

Brief introduction, my girlfriend and I took part in the Streak for Tigers last year but unfortunately couldn't do it this year. I stumbled across this site while looking to see if there were any pictures from this year, and discovered a goldmine of pictures I hadn't seen from mine! So thanks very much for that ;) I also realised there were a few that I have which you guys don't, so seeing as you helped round out my collection, I'm going to help with yours.

I'm afraid they aren't the original file names, so if you have already got these I'm sorry. I'm pretty certain they are all new to the board though. But anyway, here they are.

Have attached my ten favourites below. I also took part in this run and have around 70-80 photos of original content that I'll look to post in the future (in addition to my many WNBR Brighton 2014 shots). But for now...

I really like this girl. Lovely smile, confident, and clearly happy to pose.

Thanks/Enjoy

Streak for Tigers in The Guardian

An article appearing in The Guardian yesterday listed Streak for Tigers as one of the best fun runs in the UK. The writer describes the run as "truly exhilarating". There are a couple of small photographs from the event.

I'm not able to post the URL, but anyone interested can find the piece in The Guardian's "Life & style" section under the headline "Fancy dress, covered in paint or stark naked – the best fun runs".

ECUpirate 09-19-2014 10:35 AM

Here's the link.

Does anyone have pics of The Sumo Run? If so, please... never post them.

NudistLife 10-04-2014 06:09 AM

Hi all, I subscribe to a naturist magazine which had some photos from the 2014 streak, so I've taken some cuttings from the online version to share with you all. I hope some more photos surface from this or last years streaks, it was a really good event and it would be fantastic if they bring it back for a 3rd year.

Are there any other photos from this year's run from spectators or people who took part in this year's streak?

Incidentally, the girl with the red hair, heart-shaped glasses and long stripey socks – as seen posing for photos in the above caps.

That's me standing right behind her in a couple of the shots - wearing black converse - she did my back painting for me, I forget her name though. She was a really nice girl, I had promised to post pictures from the event on herebut I enjoyed her company so much it felt like I'd be betraying her confidence and she was in nearly all of them.

Any chance we could convince you otherwise? Her picture is already up here (multiple times), after all.

I second that. Optionally, you could choose to blur her out, which would not have my preference though.

Do you know what, I get so much out of this site - I'm sure it's the least I should do. I'll try and get some up over the weekend.

Would love to know more about this ZSL Streak for Tigers picture

Does anyone know any information about this picture?
It's very hot.
From the London zoo Streak for Tigers day.
The ladies have wedding rings on - is that there husbands?
I get the impression they are work colleagues, perhaps the people that arranged the streak.
Any ideas?
Would love to know more.
Thanks.

anonjohn 12-19-2014 03:30 PM

My guess

I have no information only guesses.

Based on my amateur interpretation of body language of a photo which can sometimes capture odd unrepresentative moments.

They seem to know each other well enough to be comfortable naked and close together. But I doubt they are work colleagues - I've never worked in such a friendly place! Perhaps they are from the same naturist club day out.

Assuming:
1. these are spouses (wedding rings on all 3 women and at least 1 man).

2. women are generally more modest and careful of avoiding sexual misunderstanding than men (assuming this event attracts naturists rather than swingers). Therefore I have given more weight to the women's body language than men.

Numbering the people from left to right 1(m), 2(f), 3(m), 4(f), 5(m), 6(f).

I guess:
2(f) holding 1(m) = couple
4(f) "spooning" 5(m) = couple and 4(f) keeping a slight distance from 3(m)

3(m) is being "familiar" with 2(f)
6(f) close to but not fully touching 5(m), 6(f) apparent breast position is due to her posing movement.
3(m) & 6(f) may be a couple (assuming 3 couples).

Supporting/refuting evidence would come an examination of other photos to see if any of these people were running together or showed other "tie-signs" like holding hands.

This reminds me of Eng Litt creative writing exercises at school - seeing a picture and having to make up a story. Maybe if there were pictures like this in Eng Litt, then literacy standards would improve!

4 and 5 are definitely a couple. Not only spooning, but his right hand is in close proximity to her boob. My take is that 2 and 3 are a couple, and 1 and 6 are either the third couple, or singles with the group of 4. 1 is covering his nuts, and 2 has her hands placed politely on his hip. That says to me, they're not a couple.

Terrymc77 12-21-2014 09:41 AM

Thanks for the input

I'm not sure you're right. I haven't seen any more pics of these people running which leads me to think maybe they are ZSL work colleagues who helped arrange the day.

I am. I mostly surf the site on my phone, but I promise to do so next time I get the opportunity when I'm on my laptop

Sad news, it does not appear there will be any streaking in London Zoo this year.

I could be wrong but they have a schedule of events up to September including "Skydive for Lions" "Firewalk for Lions" and "London Zoo Stampede" (a 10K run going through the zoo), and they say they are focusing their fundraising this year on their Lions400 campaign.

There's no mention of any streaking for tigers.

karaban 01-29-2015 10:21 PM

I can't say I'm surprised. The turnout was much, much poorer last year than the year before, and these things are subject to the law of diminishing returns. End of a good thing though.

Swimashore 01-30-2015 03:37 AM

Reminds me one day I was walking down Oxford Street when a car full of Indians pulled up beside me and asked,
"Pliz, vere iz zee London jooo."
I sent them off to Golders Green synagogue before I finally twigged what he was trying to say.

All the same, I'm surprised that pairing a naked run with a noble cause would have such a weak shelf life. There have been fully clothed runs for less pressing charities that have been going on for decades.
