True, there were a lot less people on Saturday (hence a lot less amateur exhibitionists), but I really appreciated getting close to the artists and taking pictures of them.

There were a couple of amateurs on Saturday that I didn't see on Sunday.

Here is a series of one girl going through her routine. It can be a challenge sorting through all the photos to select which ones to post... but at the moment I'll err on the side of too many rather than too few.

It was at this point that the monsoon started. Most people ran and crowded under what shelter was available. I decided to just get wet, and enjoy the break from the heat.

I walked over to the covered deck area where several contestants were hiding, and took some pictures. One of the advantages of using a small and cheap camera is that I can shield the whole thing from the rain with my other hand. Unfortunately, I ended up getting the edge of my finger in some of the shots.

When the downpour didn't immediately let up and didn't show signs of turning into a dangerous thunderstorm, some of the girls decided it would be fun to dance in the rain. They looked like they were having fun with the novelty of it all, instead of being another day at work.

One of the last pictures I managed to snap before my camera died. Still, it was worth it :) Should be covered by warranty I hope.
