Wow, she is gettin desprate!

Britney's crotch has turned into a cultural earthquake. I've seen coverage on several mainstream
news outlets*, heard radio interviews with psychologists regarding the significance of deliberately
exposing oneself, seen polls of teen girls who thought flashing a bare crotch was absolutely fine and
have overheard various opinions while buying gas and hot dogs at a local gas 'n go. A local clergyman
has condemned the declining state of American values while inadvertently giving listeners the address
of websites featuring the crotch pictures (snicker). America seems obsessed with Britney's pussy.

I have not witnessed this kind of controversy since the Iraq war started. Deliberate or not, Britney is
a news phenomenon (at least this week). Beyond enjoying the inevitable crotch shots from "America's
Sweetheart", I am fascinated by the general reaction in the USA.

All she's doing is trying to get in the public EYE once again and going about it the cheapest and easiest way possible for a women, spreading her legs. Who Knows how far this would have gone if she didn't get all this free publicity, One Night in Paris revisited but only to be called Ten Sailers in Britney. Just goes to show all she is, is a piece of trailer trash. I'm really not that impressed, or surprised by her actions.

I have no doubts Phalix is correct here but I am curious, why do you suppose she chose this method as opposed to simply doing something a tad classier such as a Playboy pictorial?

This is not meant as a rhetorical question, I'm genuinely curious as to why people here think she did it this way?

Was it because this gives her some sort of plausible denial? as in "Oops, is my gash exposed!?! Silly me, it was all an accident. *wink* *wink*" Where a Playboy or other magazine spread would by its very nature be deliberate and thus give her no "out"?

You would think a professional magazine would at least have airbrushed her scar and stubble away and thus give her a more "polished" look. Or maybe she wanted a more raw approach?

I would have to agree with you on that one, not so sure I would like to see her in that outfit now. She would definitely look like she was ridden hard and put away wet. Back then she was feuding with Christina A. b*tching about her look is to provocative/sexy for teenagers. Well C.A. hasn't changed a bit still grinding away and just letting a little subtle flash of nip here and there no big deal. What's the so called virginal miss goody good do show us a C section scar and one ugly clam. She lost the war.
