For some reason the 'History' feature on my browser wasn't storing any websites i visited anymore,.. and so after much tinkering around i decided to do a 'System Restore' .
bad idea!
So now what was a carefully organised hd is a jumbled mess of folders and subfolders and i can't remember all of what's been posted :(
and the history feature still dosen't work > anyone have any hints on that, let me know.

Absolutely love this thread. One of the best around by far!

As for your browser problem, if you're using Internet Explorer, I would recommend trying Firefox. You'd entirely sidestep your History problem, and get a browser that's generally regarded as superior on top of that.
