My wife and I are indeed vintage nudists, having gone to maybe 30 different U.S. nudist clubs between 1975 and almost 1990.

Whenever I find a nudist photo with them in the shower, I show it to her. She has told me that she NEVER showered alone at a nudist club and she does not remember showering with only women. She has showered with women and men, and with as few as one and as many as 5 men at clubs coast to coast. There is a sense of familiarity that comes from being nude together with others, and offering to help others with their backs, legs and elsewhere is just being friendly. To listen to her, there is a lot of sensuality in having your wet body soaped up and rubbed. While this is happening it is up to the person being soaped up to use body language to express what is ok and what isn't. Even if there are others in the shower with you, they are likely focusing on their showers, and paying no attention to you. Getting your breasts soaped or washed is seldom noticed and she says in at least 50% of the time, she got her genitals washed thoroughly, either from the front or, her favorite, from the back with her legs slightly spread while she leans forward.

The second thing she likes about nudist showers is that you can shower with friends or strangers. Getting your hairy triangle soaped up and fingered by a friend's husband is very naughty, especially as you fully soap up his penis. Then there are the strangers when you never know what they will do.

The third thing is we found that there almost always small showers at poolside just to wash off the suntan lotion before going into the pool, but almost every club had a large "communal" shower elsewhere. At a club in eastern Florida we went into the shower with a couple we knew well but within minutes there were at least 15 people --young and old---all soaping up each other. Most of the time you didn't know who was washing your back,bottom or the back of your legs. At that particular shower there were elderly couples, entire families including older children, and several vacationers from Europe who were very progressive in their moves in the shower. One nice gentleman, speaking German, we think, insisted on washing my wife's back and buttocks, then he reached around her to wash her chest and breasts, which left his sex organ poking into her butt. Eventually, she leaned forward and enjoyed a nice rub around her crotch.

I hope this explains why you never see a dirty nudist.
