As summer nears and V is a lot emptier these days, can anyone give specific recommendations for nudist lakes near Berlin? Which one comes closest to being the equivalent of Vab? I.e. where there might be some 20s-30s couples and not just older people?

People just spend way more sunbathing in the garden.

But I have only been once in summer so not sure how accurate my view is.

Might just be me, but at least in Germany, I've seen lot of younger people at nudist lakes. Never occured to me that it was "just older people".

V has a huge spreadout garden area and some people sunbathe in the garden in summer. The garden sunbeds are in small groups set at least 10 feet apart and most girls in V immediately cover up when they leave their sunbeds. You will need to be very lucky to get a good look for even 5 minutes.

K in B and A in Z are far better options for watching nude sunbathing in summer. V is normally full of towel dancers - good looking but mostly covered up except in sauna.

It can be pretty busy. We had to be in the saunas 10 minutes before the shows, but people do manage to squeeze in next to you as it starts.
There is no way round it, it is very expensive. But if it’s what you are into, it’s worth it.

Depends what you're comparing it to.

The vast majority of the clientele is old people (50 plus) who are not in great shape.

If that doesn't bother you it's a great place.

If you prefer quality over quantity I would head to a much smaller one in central Munich beginning with M.

Younger clientele as it's in heart of city.

I just finished visiting K in B. Weekend.
The crowd was 28-60 80%.
A perfect 5 hours of enjoyment for 36€.
Not that big a place, and it wasn't crowded either. Could have had 30% more people come.

I have been there this winter and I can confirm.

One woman stood out.
She was blonde, had dark red lips, she clearly had lip gloss. She had bright red toe naila.

Please consider that many saunas are for maybe 100 people. The K (and V) in Berlin are for up to 1000 people, the TE in M has up to 10,000 guests. But only a part are in the Sauna at TE, while all guests are in the sauna at K and V. So the TE is really big, but the K and V are also huge.

It was very nice and comfortable.

The gender ratio was completely balanced.

Age group between 28-60. Within that, also balanced. I would even say a lot more people from 28-40.

Saunas and pools are great.
When you arrive it looks a lot smaller than in the pictures, but it is comfortable.

A lot of people gather for the "Aufguss" ceremony in the K. Arena.
It is basically almost the only "Aufguss" that is held constantly every hour.

The outdoor area (terrace) is great with a heated salt pool and several saunas.

I know that TE is much, much bigger so I wonder if it is worth going and if you can even enjoy the "city" that receives so many people.

Someone says that it is mostly older people, I read somewhere that there are a lot more young people (20-40).

TE in Summer weekends is just awesome. Same as you described, balanced in all ways, worthy.

I have only been to TE once - a mild weather Saturday in April. My wife and I were there from noon to 6pm and we found the age range and the body types to be very mixed, but did skew a bit to the 40+ crowd. I'd guess the distribution was 10% below 30, 40% 31 to 50, 50% 50+. It did get a bit younger as the day progressed and while I can't confirm since we left at 6pm, probably a bit younger still in the evening. I have been to Z in A several times and can confirm that the Z crowd skews much younger, fitter, and bolder than any other therme I have been to. On the later, I was surprised how few nude sunbathers at TE there were even though it was a pleasant and sunny April day. By contrast the lawn at Z was 100% full of 100% nude sunbathers on a very similarly pleasant day. I still loved TE as the shear number of people affords plenty of great sights, pool entrance stairs is a great spot to set up camp - in my case my wife stands with her back to the stairs and I face her with a great sight line that doesn't project as creepy as it could be if she were not providing me cover. :) Similarly there is a glass-walled sauna overlooking the pool stairs that feels like it was intentionally designed to give voyeurs a great view of people exiting the pool. Lastly, the salt mine at TE has multiple daily group sessions that are spectacular in you get as lucky as I did: imagine a narrow tunnel sauna in which my wife and I are seated side-by-side and just six feet across from us are three beautiful fully nude and very fit 25 year old female friends. After sweating together for 10 minutes as a group of 20 we all are asked to exit the tunnel into the shower area where we are all given handfuls of salt to rub on ourselves and our fellow sauna attendees. Now, none of the three 25 year Olds asked me to rub them down but I did enjoy watching them rub sa.t on one another while my wife rubbed me down and I did the same with my wife. Then we went back into the sauna for another 10 minutes as we all continued rubbing the salt in as we sweat. Reminder this meant I was just a few feet away from watching these lovely women rubbing their b and c cup breaststroke, lifting and spreading their .especially to rub their thighs and calves. Then again we all exited en masse to the shower area to wash the salt off and as is always the case in these sessions to stand around nude in a small area trying to cool down. IOW, TE has lots to recommend it even if the overall population isn't as young, fit, and bold as that of Z in A.

Hey all, back when I was much younger and living in Germany, I used to go to German saunas all the time. Since then I’ve only gone a few times (once on a business trip to Germany and two times while on vacation in the Netherlands). Now I’m much older and am curious if anyone thinks there’s an age where a guy just shouldn’t be in mixed saunas anymore. Honestly, I love going to them as they’re just relaxing as hell and the scenery isn’t bad either. I’m probably going back on vacation in the next year or two and if so I’d like to go to 1-2 saunas in Amsterdam or Germany (depending on where I go) but don’t want to be a creepy old dude in the saunas. For what it's worth, I try very hard not to gawk, stare, etc., but sometimes shit just happens. And I have seen women checking out guys before so it’s not just men doing the looking.

Thoughts? Would love to get the opinions of some of the women in this forum that have gone to mixed saunas in Europe before.

One last thing, I definitely don’t look my age (most people think I’m in my mid 50’s) and am in reasonably decent shape.

Anyone been to The W in Oslo?
I was there last week and it was very enjoyable.
Beautiful weather, amazing inside and outside, great saunas, aufgas, lovely pool area and some very beautiful ladies.

I just read the W/Oslo homepage. They're clothing optional except on Tuesday. You may only use the swimwear they sell, a Speedo is $25. But you probably will rather be nude 🙂

Around here, men usually don't have an option. There is mixed saunas and women's saunas. There are very rarely men only saunas. And the one's I know have a rainbow sign in the logo. I was in the Sauna a few years back, when an older guy (70ish) started talking to a young woman (25-35ish). It was funny, because she used formal speak, adressing him with "Herr" and his family name and he was using first name. She was totally relaxed, not covering anything when talking to him. He was laying on his back looking up towards her, sitting on a higher bench, leaning forward when talking to him.

Ha! I'll both agree and disagree. If you want to go, then go. You'll be fine and won't be treated poorly so long as you are polite and respectful. That said, please know the reality: than ANY single male, regardless of age, fitness, or politeness will be seen as creepy by some percentage of female sauna goers. That percentage will vary by the aforementioned characteristics but it is inevitable IMO. So, know that you"ll never please everyone and just live your life. That said, I do think bringing a female friend has significant benefits. So whenever possible 5hat would be my recommendation. But that should not stop you either. Enjoy

I disagree here. I've been mostly solo to saunas and I've even had conversations there with women where they agree that it's practically impossible to find company to join sauna as a man. You are either a creep who wants to take a girl to a sauna to see her naked, or a gay man who wants to look at his mates.
I've never felt that I've been seen as a creep, I also really don't go the sauna to creep on women.

Usually there are women only sauna rooms available in most wellness centers, public pools, gyms or wellness areas of hotels and there is usually one or two women only evening.
There is exactly one (1!) sauna I know that has a dedicated men only sauna cabin that is not afiliated with a rainbow flag, and I know of no sauna that has a men only evening.

When I am in the mixed are(the only area where men are allowed to go to) and I see single women or woman/woman friends I don't think they are here to expose themselves or they are here to look at dicks. I think they are here because the cabin is a bit larger and there is more cabins available in the mixed are than the solo women part of the wellness area.

How is The W these days? How much there was nudity on your visit?

I haven't been there since 2019, so it would be interesting to hear more. From what I remember, the nudity was surprisingly good back then - considering Norwegians aren't that used to mixed nude spas. I remember that quite many of the women didn't cover that much in saunas and in some pools, and that was a pleasant surprise back then. Of course many wore swimming suits as much as they could, but then many didn't seem to mind the nudity at all.

Heading to TE in M with my wife in the next couple of weeks.

This trip has been a long time coming. We first went here before we were married about 23 years ago. I knew we would be nude the wife did not. When the lady at the desk said it was nude I acted surprised and said oh well lets do it. My wife agreed. In the end she enjoyed it, even teasing in the pool to get a rise out of me. I loved it and said I'd love to do it regularly but I was told in no uncertain terms, this was a one off.

Over the years I've tried to get her to go again but she's refused. She is quite a prude. Went topless a couple of times on the beach when our kids where young but that’s it. Even when we go to a local clothing optional beach she will change under a towel when there are topless/ naked women all around us. Turns out the wife and her friends had a couple of cocktails and then got nude.

This situation is already exciting.

1. I've been imagining the wife and her friends naked in TE. All three sat at the swim up bar with boobs on display for all. It must have been a great sight - all very different body types.

2. I cant wait for the trip for the obvious reasons (ogling lots of nude women of all ages) but also I'm looking forward to the following questions being answered:

How will my wife groom her pubic hair. My wife is not a regular groomer (once a month maybe) when she does she has smooth lips and a landing strip. Z in A disappointment
 

Disclaimer: This is just my experience, I am not saying it's like this every day or that people were wrong. I could have just been unfortunate that my gf and I went on the wrong day. I am not sure. Again, just sharing my experience.

Unfortunately, my trip to Z in A was not quite what I thought it would be. Went with my gf. We were there on a Friday afternoon till the evening and while I did see some beautiful women, it was honestly few and far between. The most disappointing part of the visit was the Male to Female Ratio. From my count it was 60% male and 40% male. And I think that is being generous. It was also not busy at all. Very slow and small crowd. Maybe I just got unlucky but it was quite the sausage fest. The quality was not quite what I thought it would be. Lots of covering up between baths as well, which was different from other dutch saunas I have frequented.

I also noticed is that anytime there was a beauty in one of the baths or saunas, multiple men (solo visitors) would go in right after them. There was a point I went into a sauna by myself. A beautiful girl came in, and then 5 men walked in after. Unsurprisingly (and understandably) the woman left. Even my gf who normally is comfortable nude told me that she noticed lots of staring. Makes me wonder if Z has gained a reputation for obvious creeps (not talking about those who are subtle and sneaky) thus leading to a decline in quality. The issue being that the people watchers were very obvious in the way they'd stare at turn their heads for any half decent looking woman.

The highlight would be a beautiful blond with an athletic build and medium size tits, no pubic hair. She was not shy and I got to see her go into the cold dip. Made her nipples hard which meant I needed to stay in water lol. I watched from a hot tub that my gf and I sat in. Another one would be a dark haired slim girl. Pale skin, perky breasts, and short. While Z was a let down for me, my next post will be about another Dutch sauna. Much better experience. Look out for that!

I'm pretty sure that there is a general decrease in genuine sauna going public during the warmer months, that includes the hotter talent.
However, that leaves a similar number of obvious creeps attending. Thereby the creeps are there at a higher ratio at least until the winter.
This higher creep ratio will drive down the desire for women to attend even further, creating a downwards spiral unfortunately.

A bit outside the general spa suggestions in this forum, but still interesting. I visited a gym just across the border here into Germany. The gym itself is nice, and the crowd is also as you expect. Upstairs is the main attraction though. A very decent pool and relaxing area, both swimsuit only. And a textile free sauna area, with a few sauna's and some whirlpools. The crowd in the textile free area is definitely much older. Mostly in their 60s and up. Perhaps there is a discount for them? However in between the oldies there were 4 people that stood out; A mother and her daughter, and a son and his mom. First the mother and daughter; I sadly didn't see much of the daughter. She was about 18, but she kept her towel on. Even when undressing she kept it on, which looked quite uncomfortable. She also didn't shower after the sauna because of it. Her mother was slim/normal, with a B cup with some sag. She was fully shaved. The son and mother were much more interesting. The son was also 18, and the mom in her 40s. Both were somewhat comfortable with nudity. Entering a sauna I saw them both there. The benches were in an L shape. The mom was laying flat with both her legs up (like a triangle), and the son a level higher and more to the right as well. So from his point of view he could see down to her pussy lips if she spread. As I entered I sat at the lowest level on the other side of the L. The mom then did something amazing; She dropped the leg closest to me down to the floor, giving me a clear view of her lips! If she did it on purpose I don't know, but she must have seen me look down there. She did have an odd hair choice. It was all fully shaven except around her lips. when standing it gives a sort of landing strip look, but looking at it from my pov it was a almost a bush. Still I got a very good look at her lips. But then I also took a look at her son. From my angle I could see in between the triangle his legs made, right at his cock. He was fully shaved and to my surprise he was sporting a full on semi.
