Sure i ll take lot of pics.

Pls feel free everybody to write his/her opinion on location and month...thx!!

We prefer late June or Early July, it's busy enough but not as crazy as August when the French come down en masse. This year we are there for 2 weeks 24th June - 7th July.
You have to be very careful when taking any kind of pics there. Waving a camera around in the village or on the beach could get you into a lot of trouble especially in August when there are a lot of families there with kids.
Stick to photo's of yourselves and better to avoid anyone in the background.
Also be careful with mobile phones on the beach. We've seen them sn*tched and chucked into the sea more than once.

Good advice but it's also important to mention that accommodation prices from mid-July to mid-August are at insane levels. There is a limited amount of good accommodation on site so they can and do charge crazy money.

Absolutely right.
!000€ per week isn't unusual for an apartment in August, and if you take a look at the prices at Ozz Inn then sit down with a stiff drink first.

Thx a lot!!

i think that a better idea is to locate an appartment via a local agency. Google it and you will find 3-4 agencies and 2-3 agencies like airbnb. It will cost to you about 100 euros (June) to 160-200 euros (mid July and August) per day.
The prices at the restaurants, bar, cafe etc are same all the summer period. The only variable is the accomodation. So if you like breakfast or half board or full board there are many restaurants and you can eat everythink you like at reasonable prices.
The best period to visit Cap for me is from the end of June to the mid-end of July. It is warm enough, there is lot of people, you can find intresting persons but there is not so many people that you can not serve where you go or you can not find a place to sit.
If you have photo camera or cell phone, hide them. People will be nervous if you are walking and talking to cell phone or you re taking selfies or you re walking hanging them around you neck ! You can keep them inside a bag and use them in "safe mode" shooting you, your wife or your family only, trying to avoid shooting other people. It is illegal in France where privacy laws are very strict. It is very risky and we have seen some "photographers" have their cameras or phones thrown into the sea and being chased off the beach by other beach goers. We also saw one person being taken away by the police when someone reported him. And there is a local private security team too.
There is plenty of freedom at CDA to do everythink you like without disturbing other people but the basic motto of the residents is that "Everything that happens in Cap ... stays in Cap ... "

Hi, we are couple from Luxembourg and are going to the naturist resort of Cap d'Agde for 9 summers now, the first 2 weeks in August. The Hotel EVE is situated inside the resort and has a swimming pool but room prices are high. You can rent an apartment with 'Genevieve Naturisme' at Heliopolis, these appartements are well situated.
As first timers we inform you about certain points:
- although nudity is well respected at the beach, more and more women wear a thong or towel around the waist for walking inside the resort.
- Cap d'Agde is not so 'family oriented' than the OASIS resort in South of France. A lot of couples are 'exhibitionists'.
- we observed over the last 3-4 summers that a large majority of women have shaved their pubic hair, most of them completely. Natural pubic hair is hardly to be seen. You can even find 3 beauty shops inside the resort offering full pubic waxing for both women and men.
- many women wear intimate piercing.

Kind regards,
Christian and Joelle
