how amateur a production are we talking? I’d be curious to hear more details about the production, like was it a community theater or a university or something? whether it was a big city or a smaller town, etc.

It was amateur I'm guessing like community theatre, in the UK we have am-dram and operatic society's that perform 3 to 5 plays/musical per season, these are made up of locals who's hobby is acting so totally amateur. This one was in a Cathedral City so big city and was performed in a Grade 2 listed building which is used for weddings and functions, they use the ballroom for the play, it's hold 100 people and has a small stage with an arch at the front which looked like if you sat at the side you wouldn't see much but they added a stage in front so you could see all (apart from when props got in the way)

To be honest I was taking the nudity bit to be a quick flash as I'd seen with other amateur groups doing this play, I wasn't expecting full frontal by one and two other topless. Never been to either, sorry. My best guess is there will be nothing female but if there is it will be known before press night which will likely be too late. Looking at Menier, May is already low/medium availability with June medium/good availability & it doesn't open for a good few weeks yet.

If you go to The Asylum Players Facebook page, they have some promotional pictures and a presentation of Mrs. Robinson. The actress comments, and on her profile there are further images from a previous production, they have apparently also done Calendar Girls, so she’s not adverse to on-stage nudity :D

This lady (seen in a panto) was part of my local Amateur Dramatics Group in Hampshire, a few years ago. She took on the role of Jill in a production of Equus which I was lucky to see. To my surprise, the nude seduction scene was done fully nude.

A very young actor (with several young female friends, sitting behind us) and this lady (named Leigh) stripped fully, just a few feet in front us in the front row, remaining that way for about five minutes. I wasn't expecting this, as I'd seen a similar performance by another group, where the two actors stripped to their underwear.

She was slim, with small breasts and a lovely small blonde bush. At one time, a close embrace meant that his penis was pushed into her tummy, something that I wondered if they'd discussed this sort of thing during rehearsals! It's unusual to see non professional actors going this far, but even more exciting for those of us who find theatre nudity a turn-on!

It was at the blue room in Lincoln, no it finished last week. Mrs R was in her mid to late 40s with big boobs and muff that matched her hair. If you search for the graduate the asylum players Flickr on Google you will get the rehearsal pics.

Hoping someone can help, I'm trying to remember the name of a play I'm sure I've seen mentioned on here. It had 4 actors 2 male and 2 female and was about a photographer who had taken naked pictures of her friend and published them. I think it's been performed in the last couple of years in the US and had some famous tv actress in it. I've searched on here but can't find what I think I'm looking for, hoping one of you will know and I've not imagined it.

Some (non- nude) photos of The Graduate on the team's FB site, has one image (below) of the two main cast members in bed together, so it doesn't take much imagination to put together the descriptions we've had earlier. An attractive mature woman, certainly well endowed in the breast department!

Cleansed is showing at the Almeida in Islington, London from 22/7 to 29/8 2026. From reviews of a previous production this includes female nudity and the contents note includes, "Depictions of sex and nudity".

The reviews & contents note show this is not for the faint hearted (& I'm not talking about the nudity so please look fully into this before booking - it seems akin to the Hostel movies but live on stage). As there's a chance I'd throw up during the production I won't be booking a ticket.

The females performing are Pearl Chanda and Lizzy Connolly but it isn't stated which rolls they have. Lizzy Connolly may be a familiar name as she was in the stage production of Mrs Henderson Presents from back in the day.

General public tickets can be booked from 5th May.

The play follows the structure of the book to tell the story of three teenagers and their sexual escapades. Working with the Núcleo do Olho, Leite—one of the most intriguing artists in Brazilian theatre—recreates this dark fable as a magical, at times festive, experience.

In a fairy-tale setting, it shifts between the vulgar and the sublime, the mundane and the cosmic, the ordinary and the abysmal. Twelve performers—professional and amateur, some of them sex workers—take the audience on an intense, three-hour experience, with live music, theatrical storytelling, and live pornographic scenes. Leite and her cast enter into an intimate relationship with Bataille's work, inviting the audience to do the same.

Pornography becomes a theatrical form through which vital and destructive impulses are examined. História do Olho (“Story of the Eye”) explores taboos and questions our relationship with shame and lust, seeking collective insight and consent through performative transgression. Part subversive pornographic fairy tale, part radical adventure, it is a fundamentally tender and connecting piece of theatre that re-educates the gaze.

Apparently the DEP performance at Edinburgh was filmed and I have been looking everywhere for it. Does anyone have a copy of the show?

It was on YouTube. I remember not watching much of it because I had already seen live it twice and it wasn’t the same when watching the video. It was definitely something you needed to experience live.

It was originally at Ediburgh Fringe in 2017 and 2019. They had a video of the performance but I think it's been taken down. Hoping someone saved it somewhere.

I saw DEP in person and it was great. I was 2nd row from the front, there were about 5 people (2 female) naked dancers from what I recall. I recall specifically a part where the main lady was writhing on the floor and bent over and well, you get the picture. Would be nice to see a whole recording.

Regrettably an early preview of 'Equus' in London has advised there is no female nudity.

That's a bummer, going in a couple of weeks time. Seems my trips to London cursed at the moment will be my 3rd play 4th if you include Savrage and apart from 4 full frontal men Yentl is the only female nudity I've seen. Got Cleansed booked so fingers crossed.

More modern puritanism than cursed I would think. However if booked in the right A 'seat' the actors will be sitting in the next 'seat' for part of the performance.

Derriiere on a G String at King's Head Theatre now advises nudity in the contents warnings but though there are females in the show it seems more likely that will be male rear having seen trailers/photos.

This show still happens several times per year! The next one is tomorrow.
