What can be the reason why not anymore?

The reason it originally changed was that the City of San Diego changed their rules about enforcing anti-nudity law on their portion of the beach. This forced everyone to the state portion of the beach and really killed the enthusiasm and participation. I doubt that it will every return to its crowded days of glory....too bad. We don't see in a year the number of nudists that used to attend in a single day.

I've added a couple of old pictures from the web, but they are not really indicative of how crowded the beach used to get.

Hi Bennysmith31 - these are so great! I know this is an old post I know, but do you have any other photos from this day (or others)? Esp the asian girl in the 4th photo?

I think Osreb is not anymore a user but a posting machine (more than 40.000 posts:confused:) and post pretty much whatever he founds without really thinking, just see the beach babes thread and you'll understand, plus he kinda forgot what he posted last week and post it again...tons of reposts...anyway! I don't want to say anything bad about people posting...and I kinda of doubt he does take credit on posting pictures of others as he don't claim being the one who took the pictures and such. Still I guess he's posting he should mention whenever he can the original owner/poster....It's a way to say thanks as well I guess!
I suppose we'll never see any reaction from his side except tons of new posts...
In any cases it's maybe good for you to put a watermark on those fantastic images which I don't doubt were very risky to take!
Keep on going the excellent work! From my side for sure you get my deepest respect!
