About 30 years ago I was watching TV with my then gf when this really awful, dumb program came on where people could write in and request a blind date with a weird or unique setting. For example, the tv makers matched a man and a woman who wanted to have a blind dates whilst skydiving... the scenarios got weirder and weirder.
