Hi everyone. For the last couple of weeks I have been thinking about deleting both The Naked Adventures of Forgetful Lilly and The Naked Adventures of June and Mimi and start them completely fresh. Most of the storylines are just too convoluted. Would anyone be interested in that? :)

Perhaps, but there are a few storylines I really like. You could create a new interactive story with the same characters, but with different jumping off points. I think free accounts are allowed 10 items in their portfolio, so I think you have enough room for it.

I agree that some storylines have become convoluted and sometimes don't even abide by the back story of the characters you created. If you feel strongly enough, you could delete the chapters that you feel do a disservice to the story, freeing up that thread to be used in a better capacity. I must warn you that deleting a chapter also erases the chapters that proceed from it, so if you want to delete a thread, make sure it is one that has no redeeming value in keeping it.

I have no problem if you created another story, but I say keep the current ones active regardless, there are several storylines I'd like to see revisited and it would a shame if everybody's hard work would be taken away just like that.

I really do hate deleting chapters, but there are some paths that just don't fit well. It will take me a while to look through all of them so they will be there for a little bit longer :)

Any options on which characters you want to have there own stories?

Sun could have her own story. Kate's adventures getting footage for her site would be fun. Of course, Kate's competitor, whose name escapes me now, sounds like an interesting endeavor if you keep the characterizations from your existing stories.

Sun would be perfect for her own story. Kate too, but I don't know if I want Maxine though. I mean no offense to the person who actually created her but...I never really like that character very much :o

I tried to do the same thing with Camp Clearwater ENF. It barely gets updated and most of the story has turned out way too hardcore for my tastes. I've wanted to clean it up, or delete it entirely, but receive massive objection from the writers whenever I touch it.

Well it's your story so you have every right to do whatever you want with it. If people aren't adding to it then they shouldn't complain if you want to clean it up. That's the main reason why I have my stories rated at 13+ instead of 18+. I also tried to be as clear as I could in the Guidelines page of what I don't want it the story, and if an author doesn't follow them then they shouldn't be surprised when they see it was deleted. Granted at this time I have only ever deleted 5 maybe 6 chapters total. Out of the 598 chapters between Forgetful Lilly and June/Mimi I don't think I have been unreasonable. I hate limiting authors, but I have my guidelines set up a certain way for a reason.

On an annoying note, I have learned that I am unable to create a new Interactive story. I am not paying for the Basic Membership because I have other things I can better spend my hard earned money on. If I want to create a new Interactive story I will have to delete one of my others. I will probably delete Kingdom Hearts ENF because no one seems interested in adding to that one :p
