I can't work out where the first picture was taken. It looks like Avenue de la Joliette but the trees are not quite right.

Visiting the Cap D'Agde area September / October
 

Not been abroad for a while, hubby and I have been organising our early retirement!

Just booked two weeks (end Sept, into October) in South of France very near to Cap D'Agde. Not been there for a few years. Our main purpose is lots of seafood, and to drink more of my favourite Pomerol and Margaux than is probably good for a girl.

I strongly suspect we shall visit Cap D'Agde a couple of days or so in the first week of October. We shall be keeping away from any major 'activities'; mainly using the freedom to lie out on the beach and get the important bits suntanned!

Happy to chat with anyone thinks they recognise me. :D

Maybe just look for the (sadly ageing) thick black bush!

In the town of Agde, there's a place in the center that does oysters "au volante", as in all you can eat for €26.

.. and other shellfish. Think it's by the water, was by a ferris wheel, which might be gone by now. Family orientated place, plastic chairs etc.

Probably ate like about two and a half dozen of them when we were there.

WOW! Thanks snoep! That is SERIOUSLY good info. We both can eat oysters until.......... well, use your imagination.
