But I've never actually encountered a woman wearing one of these things and I'm not sure how they are supposed to work. The panty-girdle type is self explanatory, but the corset type that end in a short sort of skirt - some pics here show briefs on underneath, how the heck did these women go for a pee? Or were they supposed to wear pants on the outside of the corset/girdle thing?
I thought one of the reasons for women in the Fifties, Sixties wearing these things was so that there was no visible panty line, but briefs underneath or knickers on top would both show . . . so did women not bother with panties if they were wearing corset/girdles?
