I actually live 30 minutes from Cypress Cove Nudist Resort. Never been but always wanted to go.

You guess is pretty much spot on. When we were there we met an older couple in the pub. The woman was petite and wearing a "house dress." She looked like a little old granny and was probably in her 60's. It turns out that this couple was staying in a room right next to ours. The next morning I walked by her open door and she came out nude to say hi. She looked amazing nude; pert tits, lovely hips, and full bush!

Yeah - Gay Head is pretty excellent. Haven't been there for years, but last time I was there, man, gorgeous women. Not a ton, but a great young crowd. A guy (maybe 35) and his smoking hot girlfriend (18?) set up shop in front of me and my wife last time. It was really perfect. He was off talking most of the time - she kept changing positions.

Formentera, off Ibiza, which itself is of mainland Spain. so peaceful.

OK, NOT a nudist resort..... But a place on Orient Beach

Has anyone been to Esmeralda Resort on Orient Beach St. Martin lately? I'd like to get some first-hand feedback on the nudity/topless "climate" at Esmeralda.

The wife and I visited Esmeralda Resort a dozen plus years ago, and are considering a vacation there again.
Nudity was accepted/overlooked on "Coco Beach" at Esmeralda then, but was definitely not the norm. But topless on the beach and at the bungalow pools was allowed and common.

I know that Club Orient nude resort is just down the beach, but two problems there: The wife likes the upscale feel of Esmeralda.
AND, she would never, ever go to a nudist resort. She is neither a nudist or exhibitionist. But she has enjoyed being naked at Esmeralda and other clothing optional resorts. Don't ask, I don't know the answer.

Sad to say, but I believe all the resorts on Orient Bay were badly damaged or destroyed in the hurricane a couple of years ago.

I found this on Trip Advisor:
"As of May 2018 the destruction is still bad. I wouldn't call it total. They are just starting to rebuild, reportedly because of slow French insurance companies, but re-construction has just begun to start."

Yes, I have since found that out. But NOT easy, websites of travel agencies and even Esmeralda just say, "dates chosen have no vacancy".... like it's a cover-up! But searching around, I see they are taking reservations for after the 1st of the year. But who wants to be the "Guinea Pig" and the be first guests?? Not I.

Croatia is having nice nudist resorts and beaches. Koversada is a famous one with an own island. Valalta is another one in the same area. Both are family nudist resorts.

Orient Beach
 

Orient Beach update:

Dear Friends of Club Orient,
Sorry it has been so long since an update. Nothing moves quickly down here. Usually that’s a positive, but not in our current situation.
As we have discussed in previous missives, Club Orient is really two separate and distinct entities, OBC which is Orient Beach Club and is responsible for the resort and its employees and The Corpropriate which is like a Home Owners Association. The responsibilities are not designed to overlap. However, our common goal is to return Club Orient to the paradise we all have loved for over 30 years.
The Copropriate or Copro for short is responsible for the repair and rebuilding of the individual units, as well as many of the common area building like the Papagayo.
We were about to announce the repair and rebuilding of the resort had commenced and with some luck, be able to receive guests and owners back in November or December. For those of you who have visited us, you know the basic clean-up is already finished and the demo is underway. The construction fence is in place, for the first units to be brought back to life.

But, we have just been informed the timeline has hit a roadblock. Because of an action taken by a few people, they have temporarily halted the repair and rebuilding of Club Orient. I am not able to give you details, either in this posting or privately, but the Copro believes the delay will be rectified this Fall. The broad answer is the insurance money long promised is still delayed.
I am sure you are asking yourself how the insurance payment can just continue to drag out. Our delay is not unique for the island. In fact, we understand that roughly half the claims on the island have yet to be settled. Even the French Collectivité itself has only received about 20% of what they claim they are due and the airport is in litigation with their insurance company.
This is incredibly sad news for all of us who love Club Orient and especially for our employees who were so excited seeing the recent progress, to be told they must wait even longer to return to work.
Accordingly, Copro must halt the construction work until the funds are received. This will result in us all needing to take a step back and reevaluate the schedule, but it definitely will mean that no units will be completed until 2019.
This delay will have a serious impact on us (OBC) as we will not be able to begin renting units for the fall and will force us to change our strategy regarding how we can proceed. You may remember OBC received our insurance proceeds in October. But, we have been having to pay partial salaries (chomage partiel), office rent and a host of other things for over ten months. It has taken a large portion of our proceeds to have gone this long with no revenue. But, thanks to the help of many of you, we’re still here and still determined.

We are as frustrated as we know you are and believe us when we say no one wants to be back in our home, as much as those of us who have the privilege of working at Club Orient.

Thank you for everything and we hope these issues get rectified quickly and we can put the construction crews back to work

Any good nude beaches in Europe that is easily accessible (close to hotels would be great)? I'm planning to go next year and just want to plan ahead.

Boadella beach in Spain is beautiful and very easily accessible.

Adding that to my potential destination. And of course still open to other suggestions too. I'm also especially looking for a good accessible nude beach in any of the Scandinavian countries since I've never been there.

This summer I went to Crete. The south of the island is an absolute paradise. While the nude beaches I had been to in Spain and Italy were populated mainly by elderly men and women, Crete had several hippie beaches like sougia and dytikos where it was packed with young nudists.. can't wait to go back

It is more of a comunity that just a nude beach
Many of Vancouver's Homeless have made it their Summer Base
Lots of tree bare trunks placed at angles around the place give shelter and privacy when you need it

Pick out a space, lay your towel out, take your clothes off and wait.
Very soon a Naked Girl will come over to you and ask

"Hey are you looking for a Girlfirend for the day?
I can stay with you if you like or I can send over one of my girlfriends"
She will leave and over the next ten to twenty minutes a stream of Naked Teenage to Mid Twenty's Girls will come by to say "hello"

I know there are a number of posts about Spain throughout this thread but I’m hoping someone can help me set expectations. My wife and I are visiting in June, spending time in Barcelona, Valencia and Murcia aiming to visit some beaches.

Reviews tell me mar Bella (the nude beach) in Barcelona is usually crammed and mostly male so wondering if it’s worth exploring or not.

Has anyone tried any of the nude beaches around Valencia or specifically El Portús in Murcia?

Obviously I’m looking for the best places to both show my wife off and to see attractive women.

Also, one thing I always enjoy is seeing people arrive to beaches in their street clothes and somewhat discretely change into their swimsuits on the beach. Is that as common in Spain as it is elsewhere?

Any help, advice or stories would be greatly appreciated

Waties Island above Cherry Grove Beach at the SC/NC boarder - little hard to reach by vehicle (as it should be) but easy by boat or jet ski. Locals have used it for years for topless sunbathing and more. I've been there a few times and used it with several women for full nude and sex on the beach, never been bothered as there's never many people there. :D

Boadella beach, about 45mins to an hour from barcelona, great beach, beautiful scenery, amazing restaurant and bar right there. Highly recommend it

Miami Beach, Barcelona, and The Hague
 

All 3 of these cities have safe, sanctioned clothing-optional beaches, easily accessible by public transportation and services like umbrella rental and food/drink concessions. All 3 are safe for unaccompanied women, since there are lifeguards there--this always discourages gawkers and beach romeos.

Playa Nudista
 

Last summer my wife and I were in Barcelona and decided to go to Mar Bella since it's so close to the city. I went first since she was finishing her meal at the beach restaurant. I was dismayed by the number of guys there. I finally found two het couples and put my towel down near them and took a nap. When I awoke the het couples had left and I was surrounded by dudes! Fortunately my wife showed up, but she was ticked off because she had seen a guy giving another guy a blow job on her way to the beach. So I guess I'd say it's not the best beach for a straight guy.

About an hour south of Barcelona is a nude beach with camping right on the Med. just north of the city of Tarragona. You can even see naked people from the train. We didn't go there, unfortunately, but did find a very nice beach in Tarragona, which is a wonderful city, by the way. We especially liked that the beach had signs with the word "textile" (or the Spanish equivalent) and the standard red diagonal through it. I forget the name of the beach but you can search it easily. We also went to nude beaches on the island of Fomentera, but that's probably too far out of your way. My understanding is that you can go nude on any beach in Spain as long as you go off to the side and away from kids, etc. But it's always more fun to be sitting near other nudists.

While this sounds great, it also sounds like something that will get the beach closed in a hurry. While many people will tolerate nudity on a beach, few will tolerate open sex acts and prostitution. I've never heard this about Wreck Beach.

Crete
 

We were in Crete also. Red Beach in the town of Matala on the south coast is outstanding. It's a bit of a hike (half hour) from town, but there is a taverna right on the beach. Great crowd, wonderful sand, views and water.

Pedro's Beach
 

The best beach I have been to in the world by far is Pedro's beach. Actually 2 beaches one nude and the other 1/2 nude. Restaurants, chairs umbrellas. A bit hard to get too but that just makes it better as not everyman and his dog is there. The 1/2 beach is just like a normal beach except 1/2 are naked and no one cares at all. Crowd is mixed age, but with a fair few younger set. Many travellers and lots of locals. A cool beach and many go nude for the first time. Also good swimming and snorkelling.

It appears to be a normal beach until you see a twenty something hottie walking around starkers and pretending that she is not being noticed.

Is this the beach in Marbella?

Me neither, and Ive been going there alone for quite a few years now lol not once for me anyway

Go east on the beach past the most easterly hotel and you have 10+kms of secluded nude beach. May encounter couples or groups of couples engaging in group sex. You may get LUCKY like I did and be asked to join in !

The best nudist beach I have been to is Debki in Poland. It's hard to reach by public transportation - you need to get a car. Debki is north of Gdansk, about 1 hour drive. Fine-grained, white sand. Unspoiled pine forest. Fantastic atmosphere - families, groups of friends, even signle women. A true nudist paradise. Although the weather in Poland's Baltic coast can be windy even in July, on sunny and warm days you will see hundrends of nudists in Debki sumbathing, playing volleybal or just strolling two miles of beautiful beach. Although hardly known outside Poland, this was the best beach I have ever been to.

Haulover Beach
 

After checking out dozens up and down the California and U S East Coasts, our favorite is Haulover, near Miami. Abundant parking, on a city bus stop, weather good 12 months, food concessions, lifeguards, restrooms, 5-minutes walk from bus stop or parking, to the nude part of the beach. Also, an active Beach Ambassador program keeps the gawkers and romeos away. In Europe, we favor South Holland and Barcelona. Both have easy-to-reach nudist beaches within city limits.

Are those beaches reachable by bus, or a car needed? which resort do you think is best, as a nearby base..?
