I was just reading about how PBS has upped their programming with Sherlock and Downtown Abbey

I guess both series have been available in the UK for a while but these shows are apparently bringing in the better demographic. I can see why now!

As a youngster before scrambled cable signals PBS was the place to watch for nudity.

there was a clip here posted last year, or in '10 from an australian (i believe) tv show in which a woman is on a rooftop for whatever reason naked and she falls off and has to be rescued? i can't remember the name of the actress or the show, obviously. i can't even find it on here. anyone have it?

The name of the show is "Rush." The actress is Kate Jenkinson. She gets naked to prove to her boyfriend that's she's not a prude. I guess she couldn't come up with a safer way to do that.

nice stuff from archer - was there any other female nudity in that series ? never heard of it before.

There is a ton of hidden nudity on the show. All three of the female characters in the office (except Archer's mom) have had hidden nudity scenes, as have many of the women Archer has bedded. No "actual" nudity since the show airs on F/X, although you never know once the DVD comes out.

Archer has some great flashes of "nudity". Many times they are quick flashbacks to someones past and there is covered nudity or rear nudity.
The second season starts with Archer guarding a young girl who keeps hitting on him. She ends up topless through most of the last half of the episode as they try an escape from bad guys on a snowmobile.

Plenty. This was the end of the third season and there will be a fourth.
