I realize I'm a little late to the party, but this is indeed Orlando. The road in the foreground is International Drive, the elevated walkway is the overpass that allows you to cross over International Drive from the older section of the Orlando Convention Center to the newer section, and the tall building right next to her left boob is the Peabody Hotel.

This pic was likely taken in one of the two Rosen hotels (they are right next to each other) on International Drive.

Jim, nice job!

It looks like they have expanded the Convention Center since these pics were taken.

Yes, they keep expanding the Convention Center, and they keep building more hotels in the area. Universal Blvd. runs on the back side of the Convention Center - it used to be just an empty through road, but it is now lined with hotels and condos. The condo development has slowed because the real estate market totally tanked in Florida, but tourism is still strong.

I went through Beaver, OR on Google Maps and couldn't seem to find that sign or the background of the pic. Now, things may have changed since it was taken, but I'm still looking for verification of it's location.

I also didn't see it shown on Google images. You'd think every pervert would take a pic of that sign, as they went past it, and then giggled.:)

Anyone recognize the building behind this flasher? A state capitol building, maybe?

PatrickZ 02-24-2012 04:04 PM

According to the building style I'd say it's an orthodox church, you mostly find them in eastern Europe and Russia.

I can't swear it isn't Paris (plein d'eglises as it is), but I'd be amazed if it were Sacre Coeur, even more so after checking a couple hundred photos I found on line: there are features the picture has that SC hasn't, and features SC has that I don't see in the picture. As in these two, if original filenames were preserved, the search could often be easier; you might even find the unexpected, e.g. that the second, featuring a woman from FEMEN, a Ukrainian protest group some here have followed, was taken in another part of Europe altogether...

Like I wrote earlier, it's not the Sacre Coeur, but the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow.

The policeman on the 2nd picture you attached has a badge "Polizia" which is Italian, so it must be Italy.

Angelgo is absolutely right about the church, I've attached the pic in the event that no one follows his link...

That's on the Albany Bulb, a stretch of land created with construction debris, across the SF Bay from San Francisco.
