Having looked closely at the above video, there were a handful of fully nude young ladies, but the vast majority of riders (90%?) were male. At least the weather might encourage some extra nudity at the beach. Where are our usual snappers I wonder?

Sadly not, it was one of the highest male to female ratios on record and was slim pickings all day long. Was a far cry from years gone by, but the event is now in the hands of new feminazi organsiers who aren't advertising the event to the same crowds: there are no flyers at the university campuses, for instance. Instead they are more interested in trying to make it more diverse and are seeking to appeal to minorities. The main organiser was in heated arguments throughout the day with many familiar photographers I've seen in years gone by. She was very heavy-handed and was even admonishing people on the beach at the end, so fair play to those photogs who stood their ground and didn't allow themselves to be bullied around.

Only three or four girls went fully nude in the sea at the end, which is hard to fathom considering what's happened in years gone by. Although I tried to be in the right place at the right time when the girls were emerging from the water, I never seemed to be, and everything seemed to be conspiring against me. Fortunately, right as I was on the brink of calling it a day, a friendly lady named May (or possibly Meg) from Nottinghamshire decided that she would pose for the photogs who had gathered, preventing it from being a totally wasted trip. She posed for quite a long time, and many of the photogs also took turns posing alongside her, and she was more than happy to do so. I've posted just one of hundreds I took of her below, but expect lots of photos of her to emerge in the coming days from all the other photogs who had crowded around her.

Annoyingly, even though she chose to pose for us and gave her consent, one of the regular riders (the alcoholic bloke who has hosed people down with his Super Soaker in previous years) had to get involved and started causing a scene, slating the photogs and asking her if she was OK with posing. Which she was. Luckily, people around me told him to go away and to let consenting adults behave in the way they wish, but it once again soured the atmosphere and further detracted from what used to be a really enjoyable event.

I have little faith that the current organisers will be able to turn this shitshow around in years to come, and their fundraiser the other week was also abysmal and had a terribly low turnout. The previous organisers, Nick and Steve, presided over the WNBR Brighton's golden years, and I think that with them now out of the picture, these days are unfortunately over.

Thank you and sounds like I miss the right one then…. Shame as you said before the last few years it’s been good! Yeah I remember that guy with the water gun form I few years ago.. what a p***, but hopefully there has been some legends today and yesterdays London one that got some amazing pics and videos ect…

Brighton was much worse than London, and much worse than any previous year, in terms of just about everything. Many fewer people (men and women), bad ratio of men to women, the limited skinny dip, and of course the belligerently rude Eastern European (?) woman who wears more clothes than anyone else and who knows nothing about the law that you can take photos of people in public. She was insane this year, both to riders who were taking pics, and to clothed people.

The girl in number 1 really didnt want her picture taken but went full nude. Personally she was my favourite. I notice she didnt carry on to Lincoln's Inn Fields! Pity!

Thanks Crispus, this video is probably as good as the 2022 London WNBR gets.

Lucy's enthusiasm for public nudity is a tonic and its great to hear from some of the riders, the women in particular. I think the lady with the pink wig (Vikki) is quite simply gorgeous, specially when she turns around to display a 'very cute little bottom' for someone clearly not in her 20s.

Yeah I saw her just before the start at Tower Hill where she stripped off as late as possible (like many of the women tbh) and when she did there was 3 or 4 guys with their cameras very close - like a metre or two away - very much taking photos of her specifically without asking first. I am absolutely not suprised she was intimidated by that, and it probably made a difference to how she felt about other photographers on the route. Unfortunately the disrespectful people with camereas tend to ruin things a bit.

She's one of my initial favourites from this year too. Finding out she apparently regretted getting nude in public just makes me appreciate her contribution more as I doubt we'll ever see her again.

Evening all. Been a while.

London was excellent, the best one for years, but most snappers seem to have missed a lot of the riders. Organising a ride in the middle of C London must be incredibly difficult. All things considered, it was great. I find I enjoy talking to people rather than taking pictures these days. Had a whale of a time - didn't take a lot of snaps, at least by the standards of previous years. Something happened and many of the riders disappeared, never to be seen again.

Brighton is fucked. Take note - despite all the talk of harassment in previous years, this one always had an above average turnout of lady riders until this year. The relentless propaganda about 'nuisance photographers' has effectively stopped the overwhelming majority of women taking part. Everyone I spoke to who has done this ride in the past was aghast at the belligerent attitude of the organisers. Net result: three guesses. Lots who were present in Preston Park decided not to ride. Overwhelmingly, people said it was the entirely unreasonable and aggressive behaviour of the organisers, particularly Chris Hermon, to blame. I look back at snaps I and others took in the past and cannot believe what Brighton has become.

Nice to have a catch up with friends from years gone by when Brighton was the pinnacle of the UK naked bike rides. Lots spectated but didn't take part. Who can blame them?

Yes, I've been several times before and this year was the worst atmosphere. How long has it been under this new management? They're obsessed with frightening the women off by making the photography an issue - I'm sure all these women know full well what public means and just don't care, yet the organisers make it seem all seedy and pevry so the women end up going along with it because who wants to rock the boat of authority? A couple of great women put up with this nonsense from the organisers so thank you to them, and I'm sure we'll all understand if you don't come back next year. A word of advice. Marching around and aggressively challenging photographers isn't a good look. Isn't the whole point of the nudity to gain awareness at all costs, which includes some people looking only because they find the situation arousing? Exposure is exposure after all. Anyway...

I may have a couple of clips from Brighton eventually, I'd much prefer them just posted here but I think I'll have issues because I can't post in the Video section. Here is a confident lady who is a great presence at this ride and the others we've seen her at.
