WE were staying at a beach house, I told my son, 25, that he could bring his GF, Shandra, if they would help with the meals and such. The first full day there, my son asked if he and Shandra could use the hot tub in the master suite, the one my wife and I used.
A while later we were drink margaritas on the deck and my son asked to speak to me. In short, he said there was a hidden camera in the bathroom, he was accusing me of putting it there to spy on Shandra.. It was a ridiculous accusation, so I called the management of the complex and the police.
The police and management, found that the camera, which was hidden in a towel rack, was not even connected to a power source and had likely been there for years and was inoperable. I was a little miffed at my son for the accusation, he said the Shandra, who I had never met before was sure I had done that. We had a little family meeting, I didn't want to see the week off ruined, everyone apologized, although I wasn't sure what I done wrong.
Shandra would not have been worth the trouble.
