Dang, it seems like the July ride was pretty amazing. It's shame we don't have more pics. Let's hope we get some more footage from the August ride.

A reminder for those with good cameras, London WNBR is this Saturday and Brighton WNBR is on Sunday!

The weather forecast looks great (London 23C and sunny, Brighton 20C and sunny), so turnout might be good, difficult to know what will happen, after two years away, due to 'you know what'!

Restrictions are now minimal in England, so lets hope for a good coverage of whatever happens, I'm so missing these big events of the past ten years or so.

Seems Brighton is skipping the second rest stop at the fountain this year. They are going from Preston to Hove Lawns to the Beach.


Also, about rail travel from London:

From approximately midnight to 14:00, buses will replace trains between Redhill and East Croydon. An extremely limited train service - one train every 90 minutes - will also run non-stop between Gatwick Airport and East Croydon. This service will run between London Victoria and Brighton. It will be the only Southern/Thameslink train operating between London and Gatwick/the South Coast.

I was 50/50 about going to Brighton because it's quite a distance for me and in past years I have stopped going. The woman organising the ride this year is even more man hating. The reason for getting rid of the second rest stop is to reduce infections (yeah, right) but to mainly protect the noncismales (basically anyone who isn't a straight man) from the 'perverts'.

IMHO they have thrown out the baby with the bath water. No Phantom Limbs band, no frolicking in the fountain, no cafe, no rest. It's proving unpopular with quite a few of the riders.

This year I won't go.

Well if they are trying to improve the gender ratio I think you just showed that the are succeeding.

Tower Hill was amazing though! A good dozen good looking naked women! Unfortunately, i was not able to make pictures but seems prapson has made a few!

There were a few gorgeous young ones if you were in that right place at the right time!
But mostly sausage 😆

It was a little disappointing and overall numbers must have been down (understandably) however the girls that went naked were of the more exhibitionist ilk and some were downright drop dead gorgeous. They seemed to disappear as the ride carried on, and as the organisers were hurrying things along I suspect the ride got disjointed and many gave up :(

90% of the London riders skipped Lincoln Inn Fields, because the first group was already leaving, and they thought they should just follow... Forum Magnum Square was the only place everyone seemed to stop.

But there were several pornstarlets in attendance, very young and attractive, and also happy to be photographed.

Pretty girls... but the knowledge that they are 'porn stars' and not just caring 'girl next door' types, that used to frequent WNBR events, mean that (for me) the 'magic' of these events (once my favourite events, ever) are now very much diminished. :mad:

A 'glimmer of hope' from yesterday's ride, hopefully a photographer who can manage to master the focus of their camera will take another one one of this lovely young lady. In previous years, we'd have had 200 images up at OCC, by now.

there were a few other glimmer of hopes. Anyone has got more pictures of the one with the black hat? she was in the tower hill ride.

Haven't gone through all my London photos, but here are a few that caught my eye.

Once again Brighton shows it true colours with their anti photography campaign.
One rider pictured below was targeting all photographers with a camera any bigger than a cell phone.
He actually stopped just after he passed me, then aimed his super soaker gun directly at my camera and lens, this was not just a quick squirt it was prolonged, and aimed directly at the camera, of course as I moved towards him, he rode off.
I have heard of a number of photographers also having the same problem, and at least one made a complaint to the police.
The first picture below is mine, and the 2nd is from another photographer in a different location.

I hope that the organisers don't condone this attempt at criminal damage.
