What a Whopper! (1961)

7 Attachment(s)
This film is from 1961 and has the intriguing title of What a Whopper! Needless to say it features Sid James, who seems to be involved in at least half the videos on here that involve the "Bum Contact Sport" this thread is devoted to. And the lady in question on the end of his attentions is Anna Gilchrist, in only her 2nd film and playing a maid helping Sid load illegally poached fish into the back of a hearse to avoid detection. It's a great scene (which I've left untouched for the video), with Sid noticing Anna's bottom and goes to pat it, only to be given gentle warning by the canny Gilchrist. However, temptation proves too much for him in the 2nd unloading and he catches her out with a firm slap of her bum. "MR HARRIS!" she exclaims, but it's Sid's response I love. "It didn't hurt, did it?" he replies and they both laugh, before he sends her off with another pat on the bum as she realizes it's all in good fun.

Anna Gilchrist later appeared (in her last role) in the Dick Emery film Ooh, You Are Awful (1972) as the police instructor with a bank number tattooed on her bum that Dick has to get to grips with. But she's not the only starlet that features in What a Whopper! that is worthy of attention. It also features Carole Lesley, whose bottom appears at the start of the film and also in a scene in just her knickers. And another actress, Marie France, appears in a scene when the hotel proprietor burst in when she is in just bra and knickers. Both scenes can be found on You Tube if you G oo gle the film, so check them out.

Sally Geeson in Bless This House (1973)

3 Attachment(s)
Another Sid James vehicle, this is from his TV sitcom Bless This House from 1971-76, which also starred the lovely Sally Geeson as his daughter. The episode is called Tea for Two and Four for Tea, which involved Sid's son Mike (played by Robin Stewart) picking up a new girlfriend, only for Sally to mistakenly tell them he was dating a woman twice his age! The scene in this video is before the revelation, when Mike is happy when his parents grant him permission to bring his girlfriend over. However, when he picks up Sally and gives her a kiss, I noticed he gets a nice grab of her bum! I have tried slowing the scene down, and hopefully the video will work, but if not I'll have to upload it again at normal speed. But considering how delectable Sally Geeson always was, I thought her worth uploading here. Sadly when Sid James unexpectedly died in 1976 she quit acting and never did another acting role after that.

The Comedy Man (1964)

10 Attachment(s)
This video comes from the film The Comedy Man from 1964, and starred Kenneth More as an actor who struggles to find work after being sacked for adultery in a case of art imitating life for More, whose own career nosedived after his affair with the much younger Angela Douglas (who features here). Indeed, the film itself is a good critic of the acting industry back then (or now) and the attitudes of the time, and there is quite a few bum patting, pinching or fondling scenes that I've decided to put all in this one video, rather than do the scenes individually.

So first up are twins Leila and Valerie Croft, who is goosed by Frank Finlay when they come to greet More on the stairs when he arrives at his new lodgings. Then it is Myrtle Reed, who has her bum patted by Dennis Price, playing her lecherous casting agent boss (ironic, considering Price was actually gay in real life). Then it is More's real life squeeze and future wife Angela Douglas, who Finlay calls "the poppet with the poetical backside" before pinching her bum in a pub. She later features in another scene at a party when she bumps into Dennis Price's casting agent, who is looking for 'new talent.' I can't tell if he pinches her bum when they meet - which may explain her startled reaction - but she is later spotted by More cuddling up to Price, having her bum fondled as she sees her chance for her acting break. Finally, a couple can be seen slow dancing at the party with the chaps hands well placed on his co star's bum. Nice work if you can get it!

Bryony Afferson Warburton advert (2003)

6 Attachment(s)
This week's video is one I came across on You tube. It features the actress Bryony Afferson in an advert she did before she came to fame in the Channel 4 series Totally Frank in 2005. The advert itself was for Warburton's bread from around 2003, with Bryony playing the girlfriend of the family's son who had stopped overnight. She decides to make some toast, only for the family's husband to come back from police duties, sees the arresting sight of Bryony from behind and mistaking her for his wife (yeah, right!) gives her a lovely slap on the bum and says "Waiting for something to pop up, love?" He soon realizes his mistake! As for Bryony, she is still acting, and in 2011 she appeared topless in the Silent Witness episode Trust. I've included a pic of what she looks like without the towel on her head, in a screenshot from her breakthrough role in Totally Frank.

The Best of Everything (1959)

4 Attachment(s)
This week's video comes from the film The Best of Everything (1959), which starred Hope Lange, Diane Baker and Suzy Parker as three young secretaries who aspired to better things in work and love, and showed what life was like in the office workplace at that time. This included the office lech (played here by Brian Aherne), a happy drunkard who tried his luck with many of the secretaries. In this scene he is in his element at a office party, approaching two young women (sadly unknown) and attempting to ply them with alcohol. But his target is too well brought up to accept alcohol. "Ginger ale, please," she tells him. "Nonsense! This is a celebration. You can't possibly want..." he begins, but taking one look he realizes he's wasting his time and moves on - but not before giving her bum a slap as he walks off, giving the startled newcomer a taste of what to expect in her job in the office back then.

Sally Geeson was in the film "What's Good for the Goose", film with Norman Wisdom, and in the German version there are scenes of Sally naked. She was indeed a beautiful girl, never tire of watching BtH, her skirts were usually incredibly short

Yes, burger1701 posted her nude scenes in that on his Random TV/dvd Cap thread here, if you are interested: https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/sho...&postcount=399. I remember it was also Sally's first ever nude scenes, and she wasn't best pleased with the makers of the film, as she didn't know she would have to appear nude. I think she said in a magazine interview years ago that they fooled her the way they did with many girls back then by getting her to sign a contract to agree to do the film, with a "European Version" included in the contract, but not explaining what that entailed until after she was halfway through the film, by which time she was under contract and no way to get out of it. I don't think she would of done nudity in film if she'd known beforehand in scripts, which is why I'm glad in a way they played that trick on her, because for her not to of done nudity on screen would of been a crying shame. Out of all her nude scenes she had to do in the film, however, she said the most embarrassing moment in her career was having to run naked into the sea with Norman Wisdom, because it was out in public with onlookers watching them film.

Anyway, onto this week's Pat of Appreciation, and it's the film A Boy, a Girl and a Bike (1949), starring Diana Dors (who sadly never appeared nude on screen). She is one of a group of cyclists (which also includes Honor Blackman and John McCallum) involved in a bike race around the countryside over a week and camping at night. In this clip she wakes from her tent when she is pranked by McCallum, who scares her with a frog. She ends up chasing him, only to trip over a rope and fall over, leading to a fellow camper to take full opportunity to give her bum a good hearty slap! Later she sits on Patrick Holt's knee in short shorts for a singsong and Holt's hand moves up and down as he pats away to the music. For Dors, she gained greater fame when she dyed her hair blonde and appeared in the film Yield to the Night in 1956. She never really fulfilled her potential in her career, but she was constantly working throughout her career until her early death in 1984, and was always good value in whatever she appeared in.

Spanish Fly (1976)

9 Attachment(s)
This week's video comes from Spanish Fly, a 1976 UK film of the sort that they used to make in the 70's because they were the only things keeping the British film industry in business back then. The film itself involved Leslie Phillips as a photographer who had lost his libido being sent to Spain to do a model shoot, and old pal Terry-Thomas discovering an aphrodisiac by accident trying to improve the taste of a bad batch of wine he has bought. There's a decent amount of nudity in it (and when it comes on the TV again I shall have to upload them on OCC), and also a fair bit of bum pinching, which comes from Thomas' randy chauffeur (played by Graham Armitage). He first pinches the bum of a passer by in shorts (actress unknown) as he cleans the Rolls Royce, but the rest of the time he draws his attention to the sweet maid (played by Nina Francis, later Zuckerman), who doesn't seem to mind a bit. After one bum pinching incident as she is laying the table, Thomas says to him "Perkins, lay the table, not the maid. Not that I can blame you," he adds, as he watches her go. Quite frankly, neither can I!

Secretary (2002)

10 Attachment(s)
This week's "Pat of Appreciation" comes from the noughties, and proved a real naughty hit for Maggie Gyllenhaal, who became a star because of it. The film I'm talking about is, of course, Secretary (2002), and something I'm surprised I didn't spot earlier. It told the story of a socially awkward girl who goes to work as a secretary for James Spader, only to find that he likes to discipline his secretary by making her bend over the desk to read the mistakes she has made and then slaps her ass. The look on her face when this first happens is a treat, but intriguingly she not only learns to accept her chastisement but begins to enjoy it! Even better, she appears nude in it for the first time in her career, the scene of which I've posted here: https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/sho...postcount=1010. She said of the role that "she felt scared when filming began" as in the wrong hands this movie could say something weird." You don't say! I couldn't see this film being made nowadays, despite it being made only 18 years ago, and now Maggie chooses not to talk about the role. Intriguing.

Oh, and note to any aspiring bosses here: I wouldn't recommend disciplining your secretaries the same way as in this video. While Maggie accepts her discipline as part of the job, in the real world your own secretary will probably issue a lawsuit on you and take you for everything you've got. Especially if it's a male secretary.

La Nipote (1974)

9 Attachment(s)
Do you remember the video I found of a Italian Maid being groped at the dinner table while guests ate oblivious to it all? To refresh your memories, the video can be found here: https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/sho...9&postcount=47. At the time I had no idea what film it was from, or the name of the actress, but since then I've discovered it was an Italian film called La Nipote (1974), and the actress playing the maid was Orchedia De Santis. Even better, I found the actual film, which not only shows a lot more of Orchedia (among others - I'll be posting that elsewhere on OCC), but also contains a lot more bum patting and groping of various other actresses.

Chief groper in the film it is no surprise is the chap at the dinner table, Daniele Vargas, a married lech to Annie Carol Edel, who not only touches up the maid, but tries the same trick with Edel's niece Francesca Muzio (who wonderfully outwits him), as well as a waitress at one time. Nice job if you can get it, I suppose. Also having their bum pinched (but not by Vargas) is a cook (believed to be Susy Kaster) and Edel herself enjoys the attentions of her lover in the kitchen. What is it with Italians and food? I've decided to put all these scenes together in one video, so in order of appearance it's Muzio, Kaster, waitress, then Edel.

For the film's nude scenes, I will be posting them on burger1701's "Random TV/dvd cap" thread later today.

On the Double (1961)

7 Attachment(s)
This is a Danny Kaye film from 1961, On the Double, where he is hired to impersonate a general while said general is on secret manoeuvers, not realizing that it means he is also a target for assassination. He also discovers that he's got to fool both the general's wife (Dana Wynter) and his lover (Diana Dors) that he is who he says he is. That means having to slap Diana Dors' bum when prompted, but soon learns not to do so to his wife, who turns up unexpectedly while Dors is having a bath. I love Kaye's bewildered response after he does this, when he realizes he's made a mistake. "Don't I do that to you? I'm terribly sorry." Then he has to prevent Dana from entering the bathroom, before hurrying Diana Dors out of the bathroom window, and in the process giving her bum an extra pat to hurry her along. Lucky so and so.

Carry on Laughing (1975) (TV)

3 Attachment(s)
As Barbara Windsor passed away only a couple of days ago, I decided to find this clip out for this week's video. It comes from the TV series Carry on Laughing, which was a spin off from the film series in 1975. They only did about 13 episodes, but are decent viewing. This episode is called The Laughing Cavalier, set during the English civil war, and sees Babs announce the arrival of a cavalier to their house - who wastes no time in goosing her.

Carry on Christmas (1973, TV)

3 Attachment(s)
As it's Christmas, I decided to upload a festive video for this week, seeing as by the time I next post on here Christmas will of gone - if it hasn't already been cancelled where you are, that is! And sticking to the Carry on theme, this is from the 4th of their TV Xmas Specials from 1973, and sees Sid James working as a Father Christmas in a department store. Unusually for him, it isn't him that's touching up the woman in this video, but fellow Carry On star Kenneth Connor, playing Sid's boss, who is showing a young department store girl the ropes (played by Nina West). On spotting Sid indulging in a sausage sandwich while on duty he ushers the girl off with a friendly pat of her bum before going to admonish Sid James. I've left part of that exchange in on the end of the video, if only to add a bit of humour for you for Christmas. I think we need it this year!

Carol Hawkins - Carry on Laughing (1975)

5 Attachment(s)
This is another clip from the TV series Carry on Laughing from 1975, mainly to finish what I had left of the Carry On clips. This one is from the episode Who Needs Kitchener? and features the lovely Carol Hawkins as a maid who usually manages to avoid the attempts of her old master (played by Kenneth Connor) to catch a grope or two, but in this clip he finally manages to get her when she enters the room with his tea. However, he clearly isn't feeling himself (no pun intended), as when she is bent over putting his tea tray down she has to remind him of his obligation by wiggling her bum at him. Once fulfilled, she happily leaves the room. What is it with masters and their servants?

For Carol, who made her screen debut in 1969 in the film The Body Stealers, she had big success with the saucy 70's comedies such as Please Sir!, The Two Ronnies, and the Carry on series. She left that series in 1976 when she found she would have do nude scenes in Carry on England, but ironically left that to do the film Not Now Comrade (1976), where she found it included nudity in the script, so ended up having to do her first ever nude scene anyway! She officially retired in 2004, but is still fondly remembered by fans of those shows.

Two Ronnies - St Boltoph Dance (1976)

8 Attachment(s)
What always used to be a staple of UK TV in the 1970's and 80's was The Two Ronnies, and their later shows would often be broadcast during the Xmas period. They would always end each show with a musical finale, and one of their most memorable ones was St Boltoph's Country Dance in 1976, featuring Ronnies Barker and Corbett as Morris Dancers. An added twist to this number is April Walker, jokingly filling the place of another, which leads both Ronnies to fight over her. Indeed, Ronnie Barker gets his hands on her a number of times, as April's bum is slapped and prodded, and in one scene has her bum patted by Barker in a traditional dance move, and when Corbett goes to take his turn, Baker makes sure he gets back in for another go! I have only uploaded the opening sequence, which is often cut now from TV broadcasts by over zealous censors with nothing better to do.

As for April Walker (who as well as this also appeared in Fawlty Towers), what is most interesting is what she missed out on. As well as her scenes cut from Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads in 1973 (as James Bolam's ex wife), she was also cast that year in Doctor Who as Sarah Jane Smith, only for Jon Pertwee to object to her casting as she was too tall, leading to Elizabeth Sladen taking her part. When April later worked with Pertwee in The Navy Lark she told him that although she understood his thinking, she would never forgive him for what he did. As a result of missing out, she never watched Doctor Who again either!

Trouble Brewing (1939)

5 Attachment(s)
This clip comes from Trouble Brewing (1939), a George Formby film that saw him cast with the lovely Googie Withers as they stumble upon a counterfeit gang. In this scene Googie has found the hideout, but is captured before she can call the police and helpfully faints so the villain's henchman can toss her over his shoulder. In doing so, it looks as if he enjoys touching up Googie's bum rather too much as grabs it to sling her over, and keeps one hand firmly on her cheek as he carries her inside to tie her up. And who can blame him?

As for the actress herself, she gained her unusual name from her Ayah (she was born in Karachi, India), who nicknamed her Little Pigeon (ie, Googie) from her real first name of Georgette. She had memorable supporting roles in The Lady Vanishes, and the Will Hay comedy Convict 99 (both 1938, and both involving her stripped to her underwear) before finding stardom in 1945 with Pink String & Sealing Wax. She moved to Australia in the 1950's with her husband John McCallum, finding later fame on UK TV in Within These Walls (1974). Her last film role was in Shine (1996), but she lived to the grand age of 94 before she died in 2011, a year after her husband, who had died aged 96.

Gold Diggers of 1933

5 Attachment(s)
This week's Pat of Appreciation comes from the Pre-Code era of cinema, and from Gold Diggers of 1933, no less (made in 1933, coincidentally!). It involves a group of out of work showgirls during the Depression taking a chance with Ned Sparks' broke theatre director in trying to get a show on stage to make it a success just so they can pay the bills. It's very prevalent in today's climate, and has a cast of ladies that include Ginger Rogers, Ruby Keeler, Aline McMahon and Joan Blondell (who seems to of been in everything back then). As well as being a superb film, it has two scenes where ladies' bottoms get due attention: one by a man, and another by a woman! The first scene in the video comes around 28 mins into the actual film and appears AFTER the 2nd scene in the video, which appears first in the film. It's not as confusing as it sounds, but I shall explain.

In the first scene in the video, a casting director calls out the girls to go on stage ready for a first performance, and as they all come out to get ready, the director moves behind a lagging showgirl late for her call and gives her bum several pats to encourage her to get a move on and not be late again. The reason I put this scene first in the video is because the 2nd (main) scene involves no less than Ginger Rogers! In this scene (which has some interesting dialogue back then), Ginger has turned up to tell the girls that their old boss Barney (Ned Sparks) is planning to put on a new show, but Joan Blondell has nothing to wear to impress that might persuade him to give them a part in his show. After looking out of a window to attract cab drivers going past, Ginger grumbles "Ah, I look much better in clothes than any of you. If Barney could see ME in clothes..." "He wouldn't recognize you," replies Aline, cutting her short. Then she notices Ginger's dress and tells her to take it off, but Ginger complains that it belongs to a drug store where she's a hostess there, and tries to resist. That's when Aline slaps Ginger's backside, telling her to stand still, before taking the dress off of her. When she and Joan Blondell leave the flat, Ginger tells her to watch herself in the clinches due to the dress, and Joan replies "I'd like to meet that druggist!" What that might mean is anyone's guess, but it sure is suggestive!

42nd Street (1933)

3 Attachment(s)
Another Pre Code film, and another bum patting/ass slapping scene that would likely face an edit in today's version of the Hayes Code, this is from 42nd Street, and the one that started the popularity of the 1930's musicals. It shot Ruby Keeler to stardom, while also featuring Ginger Rogers as a character called Anytime Annie (the joke being that the only time she ever said no was when she didn't understand the question!). Nice trivia as it is, the scene in this video doesn't feature either, but involves Guy Kibbee and an actress whose name I do not know. It's the scene at a party where a drunk Kibbee attempts to convince said girl to jump into his arms as he used to be the "hop-skipping jumper of his town." Needless to say he drops her, leading to her giving him a light slap across his chops. He in turn waits until she turns her back before giving her a healthy slap across her backside, before then attempting to show off his strength to her by tearing a phone book in half. The lady watching unimpressed from the sidelines, by the way, is Bebe Daniels.

Rain (1932)

4 Attachment(s)
Yet another Pre-Code film, this is from the film Rain (1932), starring Joan Crawford as Sadie Thompson, a prostitute who finds herself stranded on the island of Pago Pago after the ship comes down with cholera, based on a short story of the same name by W Somerset Maugham. Here Joan gets goosed by the hotel proprietor (and General Store manager) Guy Kibbee (yep, him again) before 'introducing herself' to a gang of happy sailors with a bottle of booze. When someone starts up the gramophone, she starts to dance with one of the sailors, but her tight skirt grabs another's attention, who cries "Hotdog! A birds eye bull!" and gives her bum a playful slap as she goes past, rubbing her bottom. This also brings to the attention the wife (Belulah Bondi) of a missionary, who was also on the ship forced to dock, and makes her displeasure at them dancing on the Sabbath known. "Mr Horn," she demands of Kibbee. "Is this sort of thing general in your store?" "Well, it IS a General Store," is his laidback reply.

Grand Hotel (1932)

3 Attachment(s)
Another video of a Pre-Code Joan Crawford, who must of had one of the most patted bottoms during the 1930's. She certainly had a fine backside on her, and here in another of her big roles she has a (edited) scene with John Barrymore in Grand Hotel (1932). She played a stenographer to Wallace Beery's businessman, looking to 'work her way up' for financial security (and yes, in Pre-Code language, it is exactly how it sounds). She is chatted up by John Barrymore, whose advances she originally rebuffs until she hears Lionel Barrymore refer to him as a Baron, then she suddenly becomes much more compliant to his overtures. His pat of her bottom when she has to leave them is more an acceptance on her part that she is willing to do whatever is called upon to maintain her financial security, though Barrymore's character is more decent than he originally seems. It was a big film for both these stars, and is the film where Greta Garbo gets to say her famous "I want to be alone" line.

Don't Bother To Knock (1961)

7 Attachment(s)
In a change to Technicolor this week to battle the February blues, this week's Pat of Appreciation comes from the Swinging 60's - more exactly, from the film Don't Bother To Knock (known as Why Bother To Knock in the USA) from 1961. The film involved Richard Todd as a womanising estate agent who falls out with his girlfriend and ends up attracting a number of women during a business trip on the continent - including a teenage girl (played by Dawn Beret, actually 20 when she did the film). And it is Dawn who features in this video in two scenes.

First she comes to say goodnight to Richard Todd in bed (sharing a room with Scott Finch, whose character is in love with Dawn), lingering at his bed hoping for a kiss, only for Todd to playfully tug her pigtail and then pat her backside to encourage her on her way out. Then she appears in a bikini with Todd on the beach, trying to get his attention. He pats her bum absent mindedly, which annoys her as she tells him it makes her "feel like a sheepdog at a show." However, she continues to try and woo him, and convinces herself that he has actually proposed to her - which proves awkward as at that moment Todd's fiancée June Thorburn (who died tragically young in a plane crash in 1967 aged 36) turns up to make amends. I've left the beach scenes on the end of the video, just because some people might appreciate seeing Dawn Beret in her bikini. Dawn herself had a active career in the 1960's, but her biggest role was in TV's Compact (1962-64), and after 1971 she disappeared from acting.

The Apartment (1960)

3 Attachment(s)
Back to B&W and for this week it is the classic elevator scene from The Apartment (1960), involving Shirley MacLaine and Jack Lemmon. Shirley has never been more adorable on screen than here, and the interchange between the two stars is lovely. But what I wasn't expecting when she starts to let people out was Shirley getting her bum slapped by one of the executives (David Lewis), and it clearly surprises her! "Watch your step," she starts to say as they disembark from the elevator before being goosed. "And watch your hands, Mr Kirkeby" she adds to Lewis. "One of these days I'm gonna shut these doors out here and...(signifies missing hand)." It doesn't faze Kirkeby, who tells Lemmon. "That cutelick! Boy, would I like to get her on the slow elevator to China!"

The Yellow Rolls Royce (1964)

5 Attachment(s)
Shirley MacLaine again, this time in colour and in the film The Yellow Rolls Royce (1964), playing a gangster's moll to George C Scott's mobster on holiday in Italy. Not that Shirley is impressed with the country, where all they seem to sing is O Solo Mia. Scott's gangster is a forceful character, showing it in this clip by slapping her bum - whether it is to admonish her for criticizing "O Solo Mia", or later when going to buy a Rolls Royce for her in the car showroom when he slaps her bum to show the salesman that she is his property, and that nothing is too expensive for 'his' woman. "If my loved one wants a Royce Rolls, she gets a Royce Rolls," he growls before slapping her bum (and boy, does he slap it!). "Gorilla," mutters Shirley after his 'show of affection.' She must have one durable backside!

Riders (1993)

A day later than originally planned, but with the video format back up, here is a clip from the TV series Riders from 1993. It features Sienna Guillory (then 18) as a stable girl who is given the chance to be a champion show jumper, which was an adaptation of Jilly Cooper's best selling bonkbuster. In the main scene in the video she has just left the show arena having failed in her bid for a show prize after being "drunk while in charge of a horse", and encounters the lecherous Marcus Gilbert, a rival show jumper. He is quick to point out that she has split the seat of her pants, before leading her away, much to the chagrin of her boss Michael Praed. And Praed is less than happy later on in the beer tent when he sees Gilbert taking full advantage of Sienna's tipsy state as he gives her bum a little pat as he hopes to take things further (and no, he doesn't get the chance). What a cheek!

Sharon Holm - Jeeves & Wooster (1991)

This week's clip comes (surprisingly) from the UK TV series Jeeves & Wooster from 1991. It was a wonderful period comedy starring Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry as the titular characters, ending up in one escapade or another among the upper classes of the 1920's & 30's. This particular clip comes from Series 2, Episode 4, where Bertie Wooster (Laurie) ends up in a house in the country nearby old pal Chuffy (Matthew Solon), who is in love with Wooster's ex (Sharon Holm) Pauline but can't bring himself to ask her out. Typically, Bertie decides to woo Pauline himself to force Chuffy out of his shyness, but naturally it backfires and he ends up being engaged (this happens a lot to poor old Bertie).

Anyway, the actual scene in this video is the climax to the episode, and involves Pauline (Holm) being rescued from Bertie's burning cottage by Chuffy. (I shan't explain the details, as it'll take too long and is better if you watch the actual episode on You tube, as they are hugely enjoyable). But what surprised me is when Chuffy is hugging Pauline after rescuing her, with her dad patting him on the back, Chuffy puts his hand firmly on her bum! I wasn't expecting this in this series, and I do wonder if this was in the actual script! I very much doubt it, but he sure looks to be enjoying himself. As for Holm, she is probably best known for playing Batman's mother in Batman (1989), and Jeeves seems to of been the last acting job she did, as after that she ended doing voice work for video games!

Jeeves & Wooster (1992)

Another clip from Jeeves and Wooster, this is from Series 3, Episode 1 and sees Bertie now in America and lumbered with having to look after the son of a friend of Aunt Agatha, who she insists is "very delicate" and therefore not to have any excitement. However, what none of them know is that once she is gone, Wilmot (the "delicate" son, played by Ronan Vibert) is a party animal. In this clip Bertie is woken up by Jeeves to the sound of music, only to find that Wilmot is having a rowdy party. Indeed, Wilmot fully throws himself into party life, drinking and womanizing, and setting his sights on a blonde and her backside, with a couple of playful slaps at her bottom. Sadly I do not know the name of the actress, but the series itself is a joy from start to finish, and worth checking out just for the theme tune alone!

Is My Face Red? (1932)

9 Attachment(s)
This week it's back to the Pre-Code era, and this unusually titled film could equally be called "Is my backside red?" as star Ricardo Cortez gets to pat not one but TWO ladies bottoms in this film. He plays a news columnist looking for juicy gossip for his paper, only to witness a murder and set about exposing the criminal. In the first scene in this video, he is backstage at a show where his girlfriend (Helen Twelvetrees) is performing (She is the blonde being hoisted in the air by a group of stage hands). Naturally being Pre Code there are lots of scantily dressed showgirls running about, and after Cortez gets tempted by the view of one girl bending over, he then sees a 'face' he recognizes and slaps her bum as a friendly greeting. Sadly, I don't know the name of the actress playing the showgirl, but she is most put out about his story about her relationship with a rich businessman as it cost her 'career' with her sugar daddy.

The actress in the next bum patting scene I do know the name of, and that is Arline Judge. She plays Cortez's secretary and he takes all the perks that go with the job, asking how old she is, then patting her bum and saying "Remind me someday to give you a break." "I've had a break, honey," she wisecracks back. In real life Judge married 7 times in her life, while leading man Cortez was in the original version of The Maltese Falcon in 1931 as Sam Spade, a part immortalized 10 years later by Humphrey Bogart.

We're Not Dressing (1934)

3 Attachment(s)
This week's video is another oddly titled Pre Code film, a screwball comedy called We're Not Dressing (1934), starring Carole Lombard and Bing Crosby among a group of people who end up shipwrecked on an island. It's a surprisingly enjoyable film, and Bing (not everyone's cup of tea, I'll admit) is actually very funny in this. Another who is like marmite is Ethel Merman (who I have to be honest I didn't recognize until the end credits), and it is her who features in this clip, doing a musical number with Leon Errol called "Let's Go Domestic" while attempting to build a straw house after being shipwrecked. It's a pleasing number, and during the number Errol gives Ethel's backside a good back hander, but by the end their house comes tumbling down, leading to Ethel to tell him that "The house has rolled over and done gone to sleep." A zany film, but fun to watch all the same.

Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush (1967)

7 Attachment(s)
This week's video is from the film Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush from 1967, and one of 3 I'll be posting tonight from that film (along with the threads Breast Strokes and Random TV/dvd). The film involved a teenager (played by Barry Evans) determined to lose his virginity in the Swinging 60s and his various attempts to do so. One of them is Angela Scoular, and in this clip ends up meeting her parents at a embarrassing boozy dinner do. He also gets to see just how they deal with the servants, as Denholm Elliot opens a bottle of wine while his maid holds a silver platter, saying "You can always tell the old master's touch" regarding the wine, before giving the maid (played by Erika Raffael) a pat on the backside to send her on her way. "Daddy treats Ingrid just like one of the family," chirrups Angela. "I can see that," says Evans in amazement. "How does he treat the family?" It becomes more how the family treat the maid, as then the son decides to goose Erika as she bends over to serve the master, spilling everything as she reacts in surprise. There is also a scene after the dinner where Evans fantasises over the maid spraying him with a soda syphon that I have included in the video.

For Erika Raffael, this was an early role, but her career only lasted until her last film in 1974 before seemingly retiring. Mind you, it was a good film to finish on, as Tango of Perversion (1974) contained what seems to be her only nude film role, pictures of which I have also included for you just so you can check out her "qualifications." Hired!

Red Dust (1932)

3 Attachment(s)
This week's Pat of Appreciation comes from the Pre Code classic Red Dust (1932), which made a star of Clark Gable, and was one of a number of films he made with co star Jean Harlow. Harlow plays a prostitute who turns up at a rubber plantation in Indonesia where Gable is working and ends up sleeping with him that night (which must of raised more than a few eyebrows back then). This clip comes the morning afterwards, when Jean meets Gable, thinking it might be the start of a beautiful relationship. However, Gable quickly dispels that notion, thanking her for last night's fun, popping money down her front and then giving her backside a friendly pat of thanks before walking off, leaving poor Jean crestfallen. There is also a famous scene in the film involving Jean Harlow in a barrel, and that I will be posting in the Pre-Code Hollywood thread here: https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/sho...=237829&page=6. But the film itself is hugely enjoyable, and it's a tragic shame that Harlow - who came to films in 1928 and had considerable success in the 1930's - died so young in 1937 of kidney failure, aged just 26, and now seems forgotten by today's generation of movie fans.

Murder at the Vanities Bum Pat (1934)

3 Attachment(s)
This week's video comes from one of the Pre Code films that was said to hasten the introduction of the Hayes Code ruling, Murder at the Vanities (1934). As you may of guessed, it is a murder mystery set during the staging of a burlesque show, and came as close as anything back then to near nudity with some of it's scenes (which I will be posting on the Pre Code Hollywood thread here: https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/sho...10#post2973210). This scene comes before the first number, and just after the first murder attempt of the leading lady Kitty Carlisle. After she is encouraged to get ready to go onstage, it cuts to some of the audience queuing up to get seats, and one chap is so eager to sit down before the show starts that he pats his girlfriend's bottom in front of him to hurry her along. It's a pity you can't see her face clearly, but she's not happy about being "prompted" on.

The Big Job (1965)

7 Attachment(s)
This week's video is from the UK film The Big Job (1965), starring Sid James, Dick Emery and Lance Percival as three crooks who rob a bank but get caught after hiding the loot and are jailed for 15 years. Getting out, they set out to find the money where they have hidden it, only to discover that since they've been inside a big housing estate has been built and the money is in a tree in the garden of the local Police Station! It's a great film, in the style of the Carry Ons, and naturally with a film featuring Sid James he gets to pat a woman's backside (he really must of loved his day job - maybe he had it drawn into his contract?).

The lady in question on the receiving end is Sylvia Syms, here playing his devoted girlfriend who meets them at the prison gates, only to be disappointed when Sid wants to look for the loot instead of going back home for some "catching up to do." As she grumbles, Sid gives her bum a number of playful pats to hurry her along. Later, when they need transport to look for the area where the money is hidden, Sid sends a dejected Sylvia out to find a car for hire, giving her bum a slap to send her on her way.

She isn't the only woman whose bottom gets attention, as Carry On girl Joan Sims also pops up in this film as the landlady of the house they stop over in which is opposite the police station where the loot is hidden. Sid gets the idea to dig a tunnel, and as her room is the ideal place - and the fact that she fancies Dick Emery's character - he gets Dick to try and seduce her. He ends up pushing him into her room, with Dick accidently slapping Joan's backside in the process. Not that Joan minds in the least, and Dick Emery's worried expression as she closes the curtains says it all...

The Bowery - Fay and Pert (1933)

7 Attachment(s)
Today's video comes from the Pre Code film The Bowery (1933), about a couple of rival bar owners and features Fay Wray (her of King Kong fame) and the unlikely named Pert Kelton. Fay plays a girl desperate for a job, only to find two men she meets in a bar plan to put her into prostitution, before being rescued by landlord (and gorilla substitute) Wallace Beery. In the first of three scenes in the video, Fay then waits out in the street to thank Beery, who has "no time for dames," but nevertheless tells her to turn around so he can check out her figure, giving her a couple of pats as she turns while he sees if she will be suitable for his bar as "entertainment." In the 2nd scene she is now in a hospital with George Raft, Beery's bar rival, who has beaten him up. As she goes to leave, Raft gives her a couple of pats to encourage her on her way. It startles her at first, but when she turns to face him she breaks into a smile and does as he says.

Finally, in the 3rd scene, it is Raft again, but this time with showgirl Pert Kelton, who is more than a little worse for wear with drink. As she gets out the carriage and heads towards his apartment, Raft has to grab her arm and guide her back into the buggy, giving her bum a good couple of slaps to encourage her inside before sending her - and the carriage - on it's way home. As for Pert herself, she features in another video from this film in the "Pre-Code Hollywood" thread, where she performs a couple of cabaret numbers. Believe you me, you've never seen - or should I say heard - anything like it!

The Crystal Maze (S1Ep3) (1990)

7 Attachment(s)
This week's clip I spotted by chance when happening to watch an old episode of The Crystal Maze (and when I mean old, I mean the PROPER series from the 90's, not the remake). It was a hugely successful TV game show on Channel 4 from 1990 to 1995, and involved 6 contestants exploring four different zones of different themes, competing in games to win crystals before heading to the Dome to collect enough gold tickets to win the big prize. The first - and best - host was the sublime Richard O'Brien, who was worth watching alone with his eccentric asides, and when he left in 1993 the show was never the same.

Anyway, this clip comes from Episode 3 from the 1st series in 1990, where Sarah, one of the team members, is trying to work out the game "Treasure Hunt" to find where the crystal is hidden before the time runs out. As it is, she discovers it in time, but what was an eye opener is when she hurries out of the room up the step, one of her fellow teammates gives her bum a hearty pat of gratitude. Her bottom gives a lovely bounce when he slaps it, while another chap gives her a big kiss and hug for winning. It's amazing seeing it happen on a game show, but sweet Sarah doesn't seem perturbed by it at all! And just to see what her team mate was enamoured about, I have also included a few shots of Sarah's bottom from the episode for your appreciation. Enjoy.

Dallas

I don't know if you welcome suggestions, but in the very first episode of Dallas, Bobby (Patrick Duffy) catches his newlywed Pam (Victoria Principal) going through his briefcase. He lifts her jacket up and gives her left buttock a healthy smack as a warning. It's about 5 1/2 minutes into the episode.

Yes, I'm happy for any suggestions regarding TV or film clips. Indeed, I'm more than happy for anyone to upload their own videos here, if they wish, as long as it involves bum patting, slapping or groping clips. (For any boob groping vids, there is a thread called Breast Strokes for that sort of theme here: https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/sho...d.php?t=235858)

As it is, I was able to find a video of the episode you mentioned (thank goodness for ok.ru!), so here is the clip you mentioned where Victoria Principal is taught a lesson by her new hubby Bobby (Patrick Duffy) not to go through other people's papers. And he sure does give her bottom a good slap. "I thought men only kept work in their briefcase," grumbles Victoria. "This IS work, honey," says Duffy. "I'm Ewing Oil's goodwill ambassador." "You've got a whole stash of goodwill there," says Victoria. Duffy grins. "Yeah. Daddy calls them B's - Booze, Broads and Booty. It's what keeps the independent oilmen independent." Well, it's as good a philosophy as any, and Victoria's booty is certainly worth waking up to and slapping every morning!

On a side note, Victoria Principal - who started out as a kid performing in commercials - once posed nude for Playboy in the September 1973 issue by request of the makers of her film The Naked Ape to help promote the film. That is some committal to duty to the film! (And yes, I've included a few snaps here for your appraisal) Sadly, the film was a flop and for a time Victoria actually quit acting due to disappointment in the film's failure. However, she was persuaded to come back to acting in 1977 by Aaron Spelling, who had her in mind for a part in a new TV series. The show? A soap opera set in Texas called Dallas...
