Just before my wife and I got married, we were over her friends house. It was early in the summer, pool was open and we were drinking and swimming. 3 couples were there. Somehow, the three guys wound up in the house for a bit as the sun was going down.. The backyard was somewhat private with shrubs and trees blocking the neighbors view. My in-laws live next door, and we were great friends before even the thought of anything progressing with my now wife took place. There were a few psychological things involved for her wanting to go (e.g., feeling left out, her daughter getting married, feeling old), and surprisingly my wife is the one that brought up her going with us.

I probably made it even more awkward, but I'm good friends with my FIL, so I didn't want it to be a secret. Once we worked all of that out, I got to see her naked at the beach. My MIL is in her late 40s, and I never thought I'd see her for hours nude. It seems like it was a one-a-done thing for her. I've not asked my wife if any behind-the-scenes agreement was made, but it seems possible.

She, her husband and kids often go to nude beaches, sauna and nude resorts/ campings.
My wife and I also like to hang out naked at the lake, beach and sauna.
However, my SIL never wanted for all of us to hang out naked together. For some reason she found it awkward and weird that her brother-in-law would see her naked.
So she and my wife always stayed dressed, while on a few occasions my BIL and I had been naked while the women were present.

Bit awkward at first, but after that 1st time she never again made any issue going naked all together, including when our kids are present.

I know lots of women who will gladly go nude in front of others as long as they don't know them, obviously it's quite common. It makes me feel a bit left out when I find this out about women I know, especially because I am way more comfortable being nude around people I know rather than strangers (backwards to most people, I know).

I also know of several groups of people where the men go nude but the women won't. I think that is pretty common, too. I have never been part of these groups, though. When I am nude around others, I am always the only one. Huge bummer.

What was it like to finally see your SIL nude after all this time? Was it worth it, or a let down? Was it a big deal, or no big deal whatsoever? Did everyone feel much more comfortable around each other in general after that?

I have yet to see my own SIL nude after nearly 20 years, but after seeing her change (with a bra on) about 5 years ago, it made her seem much more relaxed in general when she was around me.

The 4 of us already got along with eachother quit well before that day, so the only thing that actually changed was the fact that we all are comfortable with eachother naked.
