duran - she IS a lawyer !! Don't worry - she keeps her stuff well away from her husband - and he likewise from her. Strange relationship. She is a lot smarter than he is. Hubby is asian Pakistan born - she is UK born.

She needs someone to talk to. It's amazing the stuff she just comes out with - mainly to me more so than my wife. I have never found a woman do this before with me - confide in family stuff. She obviously trusts me & values my opinion & judgement.

Done some gardening today & manged to trim the hedge so it is quite 'see ' through at the point where she hangs her washing out.
Be interesting to see how she reacts next year when I am gardening in the buff and talk to her through the hedge while she is out hanging washing - something I have done this year - but the hedges in that area was too thick for her to see anything - not anymore !

Was in the garden this week (clothed - still cold here) when next door was out with her kids and a friend with kids on their garden slide / swing. Her youngster spotted me and came to the hedge to chat. My neighbour said very pointedly (I thought) 'That's a good view' in a positive tone. Maybe she is looking forward to the warmer weather and the view she will get then - obviously I will make sure the kids aren't around.

maybe

You could be right, but maybe she actually meant that the current view of you (with your clothes on) really was a good one and preferable to her.

Looking forward to hearing how this developes over the summer.

Not from the tone of her expression / voice. It was more like ' I can really see you clearly now'.

Warm day today! So sat out in discreet corner of my garden this afternoon. At 3 pm she came out with her kids for the swing / Slide.
she wanted a mint plant , so I called her to say we had a spare one & went to the fence area (6' tall) & handed it over. Her youngster said hello & said she wanted lifting up to see me. she said no - he's busy (knowing I am in the buff - she must have clocked me walking up the garden to say this so her youngster didn't see me).
So, for the next hour or so, I pottered around the garden, when I knew her kids were away from the see thru hedge area, I made sure I was in that area. She could clearly see me, and me her. she was looking alright.
Weather is going to be good over next 2 days too. I may get chance to be out there on Wednesday - be interesting to see if she is out too.

Just so we have the idea.

What are the chances that you could take a picture of the hedge area so we could get a better idea of exactly you are working with.
Pick a time when she is not out there and take a quick pic.
