Out of curiosity - how much time do you use on each drawing? These are really well made and seems to be made really quick. Kudos!

thanks I don't often receive many compliments; to answer your question it takes between 30 min - 1 hour per character (this variation depends on pose difficulty, and keeping things on model)
the chibi took about 5 minutes

i'd like to continue to throw my encouragement out there -- this would be excellent if it came to life. when I have more than a minute I'll offer up some names/backgrounds/descriptions of the characters mentioned. Like the art so far!

now only if we could convert it to 16 bit somehow, hehee...

I think that maybe i'll start writing a script soon if the lot of you like the idea this much(after the description of characters and enemy listings of course)
It would be great if you could give ideas for characters,names,enemies etc
Maybe if you want you could think of some good victory/defeat moments
Maybe designs for characters or even art backup(for my fantastic artist julianpaquette) and if anyone is capable at programming please step forward

okay i've just given some thought to the equipment and how it works

Each character has a set type weaponry and these are what they are
MC:Knives
Fairy princess(Aurora from now):Bows
Witch(Scarlet from now):Staffs/Wands
Thief(Rose from now):Gloves
piratess (needs a name):Spears
Gambler(Needs a name):Dice
Musician(Needs a name):Guitar
Knight(Claire):Swords

Each character has their equipment/costumes which can take 1-3 hits before breaking decided by a damage threshold(DT henceforth) using the attack or strip action will damage the clothing ,you can remove all of them but it will inflict naked status :p
Clothes
Head:hat
Body:outer
Body:inner(top half)
Body:inner(bottom half)
Feet:socks
Feet:shoes
Misc:i.e. belt,Ring etc

An easy to follow example is the MC starting clothes which would go like this
Clothes
Head:nothing
Body(outer):Dress (DT 1)
Body(inner top):Bra (DT 1)
Body(inner bottom):White panties (DT 1)
Feet(Socks):White (DT 1)
Feet(Shoes):Boots (DT 1)
Misc:Leather Belt (DT 1) +1 DT to body outer clothes

certain equipment has effects like the belt that affect stuff in battle.

So give feedback on these ideas and names etc :D

Each character has 2 besides the MC who has 3 but they will have 1 from the start and gain the others later

MC:Lunar divider(Heavy damage 1 enemy-physical)
Astral prescence(Buffs defense 1 ally)
Flora's devotion(Heavy damage all enemies-physical)

Aurora:purity(heals 1 ally)
Titania's Blessing(Heals all i.e health,ailments etc)

Scarlet:Mana Flare(hurts enemy-magic)
Zeus' Fury(heavy damage all enemies-magic)

Rose:Steal(Can steal stuff from enemies)
Hermes' Trust(Buff's speed+heavy damage-physical)

piratess:Bluff(Can trick enemies by making them give stuff)
Loki's Insult(Heavy Damage to all enemies + debuffs defense-physical)

Gambler:Deal(may take all clothes from enemies but may lose some from team if fails)
Fortuna's Luck(Makes team always hit criticals for 5 turns)

Musician:Sing(Buffs team fully)
Muses Merryment(Buffs team fully/Debuffs enemies fully)

Claire:Justice Devotion(buffs attack + heavy damage to 1 enemy-physical)
Fides Judgement(buffs teams attack + heavy damage to all enemies
