Thanks for all the positive comments, I'm glad people liked it as much as I did.
Thank you wallace and enfviewer for the link to her blog, puts a new dimension on it: "Whilst we are winding, I try to spark up a conversation. But with Jim, our translator, out of sight this gets to be a bit tricky. I only know one word in their language, and they know none in mine. I begin by pointing at items around us and learning the words for their shell necklaces, pet pig and net bags. After we’ve exhausted everything on their person, the tables are turned and they start pointing and teaching me words for parts of my body – hair is ‘habianto’ and breast, ‘am’. They seem to be extremely intrigued by my breasts. A couple of children reach over and prod them. The older women giggle, encouraging the girls on. The next thing I know, they start to unbutton my shirt. The Korowai are both amazed at the lifting properties of my Gossard Superboost bra. They begin to imitate its effect by cupping their own breasts in their hands with curious looks. It feels slightly surreal to be sitting, metres up in a jungle tree house, being communally undressed by several women and children. I help them to unfasten the clasp and the women stroke my breasts, smiling, giggling, repeating am am am." |

No 'secret' video has emerged sadly, I'd be surprised anyway. Filming a wildlife documentary for 3 years is a bit different than filming Big Brother say, and looking at her history, she has a first class degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from Cambridge, so is unlikely to be appearing in Zoo or Nuts anytime soon!
The blogs behind this excellent series do contain a few photos of her, including one nice downblouse :) |
Her name is Rachael Kinley. I bought the video of this from the BBC and this enticing little scene isn't in the video. :(

I take it that this is the censured film you are talking about - http://www.rudedares.com/video/465/b...an-tribeswomen

Found this link to something similar on a Spanish (?) programme. The two girls are made to wash, but don't show too much until they put on tribal clothes towards the end.

I'm puzzled by this idea that the BBC edited this for airing. I have seen BBC shows of a documentary nature and there was nudity shown. Made me think they were a bit more open to it than we are here in the states. Why not this show?

For those of us state bound who want to view this, the entire episode of People of the Trees is available on any decent peer to peer setup, such as emule. That's how I found it. I ended watching the whole show, very good! I could share the clip if someone PMs me on how to do so.
