Hello and my most sincere welcome to all

so, an interesting thing happened just today

the telephone rang off the hook at my house, but no one was there to answer it

The answering machine, yes we have one of those, was full with 14 messages when we got home

someone, and I think I know who, had gone online and signed us up for everything from alarm systems to pest control to roofers giving free estimates

As I was Barbequing tonight, the calls kept coming. The friends we had over were amazed at the amount of calls we had from sales people, that is when one of the wives spoke up

"This is too crafty for a man, it has to be a woman. She does not have your cell numbers or they would be ringing off the hook also." Light bulb time

Friday, my wife and I went to City Hall were we had submitted building plans for a small shop my wife wanted to open. The plans had been sitting, unopened for months, and we tried to find out their status.

The secretary at City Hall is an overweight demanding woman who has been in her position threw three administrations and felt that the main drag did not need a shop that sold coffee and comic books.
