Your opinion...

Pubic hair is coming back... Not like in the 70s, but the child look is over. Do not forget that remove pubic hair is a fashion that started in porn movies to give you an idea of hygiene in the time of AIDS...

Not "completely true", but then I didn't claim it was. "Your opinion". As it happens, that is my opinion, but that's not what I said. What I said was that those who adopted the practice decided it looked better. As for your assertion that it is "coming back" - I believe that is wishful thinking on your part, there is absolutely no evidence to support that claim. My wife and I have advocated and practiced total body hair removal since well before it became popular. In those days we were very much in the minority. Now the tables have turned and it is the bush lovers who are feeling the pinch! In spite of my preference I have every sympathy for them, there is no right or wrong thing here - we are all entitled to our opinions and preferences, and I know how it feels to be fighting a rear-guard action. I am including a couple of pic of my wife's piercings and smooth state - they have been posted before, in an OCC piercing thread - I hope you like them.

If you think the return of pubic hair is wishful thinking, you should probably go check out the WNBR 2015 thread and see how many women have full landing strips or full bushes. But as you say, you are an advocate for full hair removal, and by definition represent the opposite end of the spectrum.

Do I detect a note of desperation creeping in? Because the WNBR thread is hardly representative of the true picture! Consider this:- Earth mothers, eco-warriors, left-over hippies, right-on feminists, etc. - a grouping that includes a lot of bike riders (I'm not criticising or condemning them for riding bikes, they've as much right to their preferences as I do to mine!) But they often shun any kind of cosmetic practice - for many of them, it's not "coming back" because it "never went away!" - and this tends to distort the picture. No - I have not based my conclusions on the evidence of a single, un-representative thread, my observations are drawn from a wide range of different OCC threads where, incidentally, ordinary (not models or porn stars) girls predominate! And I see far more total epilation - or at best, a tiny token patch of hair - than full, or even trimmed bushes. My observations also extend to the naturist beach where even among the true naturists (not libertines), families with children, a significant and growing proportion are now body-hair-free. As I have said, preferences are personal, we all do what we are happy with, and it is pointless to try to imply that one's own choice is the "right" or "proper" one.

Unfortunately, I think this is correct, if one compares WNBR 2015 with previous years, there are more women with full bushes. I have also seen on the net generally in the last 12 months or so that the bush is making a slight comeback. I say it is unfortunate because I too was a very early shaver and an advocate of total pubic hair removal and still remain so.

I think if you truly thought it was pointless to imply that a choice here is right or wrong you would avoid using terms like "eco-warriors" and "left-over hippies".

I also think the problem with your assertion here is that you purport to know what the demographic is for the WNBR rides. I don't think your characterization of the people who participate in them is anywhere near accurate except to say that they align with the stated political cause of the WNBR. In addition, MANY of the women who participate in WNBR who have bushes are fit, young, and athletic. And wearing makeup.

Another place where full bushes representative of the general public can be seen is in Spencer Tunick's group nude photos. Clearly, in many of those shots, full bushes are not a tiny minority to say the least. There is even less of an earth mother, feminist, left-over hippie affiliation among the people who participate in his shots. They are more like a random sample of the general public at large.

Also, just wanted to mention that, as a nude beach goer of the last 17 years, I definitely believe that this group of people has been in the vanguard of shaving everything off. However, they are also a self-selected group themselves - going to the beach regularly, and establishing their own subculture. Sadly, only a tiny, tiny percentage of the general public will ever go to a nude beach, which makes this group not representative of the general public.
