These are the kind of pictures that make you stop, reflect for a moment, and be thankful that you're alive right now, at a time when a) people are allowed to dance naked in a public park (if only for one day a year), b) high-resolution digital cameras exist to record them, and c) there's technology to share those pictures with the entire world. What a wonderful time to be alive. Thank you for capturing this joyous performance, Klondike. And thanks again in general for all of your pictures this year. They are exceptional. :)

Fango, I always imagine that you must be quite jaded after having spent so much time here. So that is why I feel especially proud to be able to (still) tweek your meter, so to speak, every now and then...:)

As far as the dancing girl goes, I can put up at least two more sets...

And as far as the technology goes, there is tech that could keep photogs in the field in constant communication, sharing info and pics instantaneously. Gaswork is kind of spread out, and you cannot see all the places where riders could be. Each year, I miss important riders, and I often wonder where I should be. Next year, I'd love to have a guy up on that hill reporting back to me. Only there can you see everything, but of course you are too far away to get most of your shots unless the riders are right there on the hill with you.

Military tactics........:) modern technology. Has anyone tried this at WNBR? - I would be a little hesitant to provide
info (time consuming when time is of the essence) without getting some back. It would need to be a you rub my back, I rub your back kind of thing. Also, I'd not want participants to hear my conversations "HEY, two REALLY hot numbers just arrived here!! COME QUICKLY!!"

Also, I want to analyze Clikr73's pics. I think he must ride, then stop to shoot. The locations where he shoots suggest this. He covers everything - pre ride, ride and post ride. I only cover post ride and pre ride (but post bodypainting). Probably he shoots the whole procession en route, then gets back on his bike to tail along to Gaswork.
