Tunick just did a new naked installation in London featuring covid masks.

A nice, 2160p video from the installation:

It appears to have been held to advertise Sky Arts moving to Freeview, but looking at the weekend's schedules I can't see a show about it on Sky Arts. Maybe there will be in the future.

Thanks, especially for the Vienna one

For many years it has been my holy grail to find the hot milfy reporter that wrote this article about her being part of the Vienna stadium installation (no need to google-translate, it's mainly her complaining about the poor organization). Any hires Vienna pics are highly appreciated ;)

I'd like to have his confidence

I'd like to have Spencer's confidence to sell such an idea, such a concept to members of the public - come along, undress by the 100s and let me take your photos

Actually, initially, they were very small groups - sometimes as few as just one or two people. But they were in public places - environmental nudes. After his Naked States tour, things went viral and he started drawing larger and larger crowds. To get to this point, you would have to be selling and evolving your idea for about 20 years.

Very true. In Naked States you see him really struggling to get people to take part in some of his shoots.

Ironically the most difficult time he had was with the nudist group on the beach. So many of them acted like total asshats! :D

Yeah, I remember that pretty vividly. Ironically, the reason it backfired was because he was using nudists in the first place. Most the people are already naked and hanging out there, and they are not pumped up to get instructions, get their clothes off and get the shoot down, and get dressed again as non-nudists are. Second, on nude beaches a lot of people are already suspicious of people with cameras and/or accidentally getting caught in someone else's photo when they want to remain anonymous.

My holy grail has always been about a story my friend told me about the 2001 Montreal shoot.

In short, a woman coudn't find her clothes about 20 minutes after the end of the shoot. Apparently she wasn't the only one who had trouble finding them, since some bundles of clothes had to be moved in between shots. Turns out, she was a reporter for a local journal (the now defunct Hour) and she wrote a very negative article about her experience, and Tunick himself. Never could find the article, sadly.

It wasn't just nudists. He is a pretty active swinger so it probably made it a lot easier to get things started.
