Love the Ukrainians! They are strong and know how to party! Last time I was there "The Gates of Kiev" took on a whole new meaning.....beautiful people, beautiful city. Oh for those with an inquisitive mind, the last party I attended in Kiev was in January and involved the following: home built steam room out building, a fire, softball sized rocks heated and dropped in wooden barrel of water to make steam, lots of Ukrainian "water" (a.k.a. high alc% vodka), bundles of birch tree switches soaked in hot water used to beat each others backs to bring blood vessels to the surface, running out of the steam room and diving into huge snowdrift, going right back in steam room and REPEAT many times......did I mention vodka as involved???? What a rush! I have a lot of respect for the people of Kiev! I want to go back..........
