I look at Philly in shock and outrage! Glad I’m playing beer pong with wine! I go to walk away and EVERYONE yells at me, “You got skunked… time for a naked run!” I laugh – riiiiiiight. I’m wild, but come on. It’s just beer pong.

Apparently this is a frickin’ religion to some people. I look at my girlfriends for mercy. Everyone is nodding their heads…naked run. Naked run. Naked run. I’m sweating. I’m drinking more. OK… I’ve known most of these people since elementary or middle school. I do not need another 15 years of ridicule for NOT going through with it when it seems that everyone has done it at some point. I concede.

Looking back… I realized a lot of guys started clapping. So I head outside. We set the ground rules. Full naked sprint around the entire house. Of course there’s a bonfire going as I make sure it’s well lit. Of course there are at least 30 people in attendance. Fantastic. So glad I hadn’t worked out since 9th grade cheerleading camp.

I am butt naked, holding my twins for support, running on gravel with a good chunk of my graduating class cheering me on. My only salvation was that my friends grabbed my clothes and met me on the last leg of the run so I didn’t have to get dressed in front of the entire party. Thanks girls!

I get in the house and receive a thunderous applause. I see respect in everyone’s eyes. I am chugging more wine. Woo-hoo I did it! Seriously though, why are people sooooo excited that I did this? It starts to come out at this point…NO OTHER GIRL HAS EVER DONE IT! wh*r*s. Each and every one of my friends are wh*r*s for convincing me that I would be shamed and ridiculed for decades to come if I didn’t do it and lo and behold, none of them had ever done it! Only the guys do naked runs. Good to know.

The moral: Don’t trust your friends, and don’t run naked around a house no matter what anyone says.
