Not so much a superstition as an exageration. A lot of people are known to get nosebleeds when overly excited (stress = increased blood pressure, which can occasionally rupture the soft tissue in the nostrils), and since sexual excitement is a form of excitement... well...

Coincidentally going along the subject of nose antics in anime, the first few pictures involve one powerful wizard/teacher who sneezes the clothes of one of his students. The last two are from the same OVAs.

(The idea of a strong wind stripping a girl reminds me of the ENF story of the stripping mischievous breeze)
