I don't know if anyone remembers, or has seen this before... but long ago I posted a tutorial to demonstrate how to remove censorship. The thread is closed (you can't post on it anymore), but it's still available to see.

With a significant amount of effort, this photo can probably be cleaned up to some degree... certainly not 100%, but maybe +40% or +50%... enough to make a difference.

I messed with it for a couple of minutes. I'm sure I could do it, but it's just not worth the extensive amount of time. However, there is hope with this image. Perhaps someone on here who has some time would like to take a crack at it. It would be fun to work on, but I can't justify the hours required to do it.

I added the small amount of enhancements I made on the right image. I included the original for comparison on the left.

Played around a bit more... yes, this can be done... but not in a short amount of time...

More can be done... but here's the quick and dirty version....

Various techniques... more advanced than in my tutorials. Just wanted to see if it was possible... it seems to be.
