I don't want to turn this into a discussion thread, but it would be useful to have a bit of chat to help all those of us who will be attending the London ride this Saturday to ensure we get the best possible photos for everyone to enjoy...

The WNBR London twitter account and Facebook page states that there are going to be some changes to the usual route this year, largely out of respect to recent events - which is completely understandable.

But does anyone know whether this will affect any of the traditional best places for photo opportunities? I'm thinking mailnly Westminster Bridge, Waterloo Bridge and (maybe the best place for photos) Lincolns Inn Fields?

I'll be taking photos and sharing them on here, just want to make sure my usual locations will still be good places for photos. :)

My favourite girl and her lack of knickers can be seen in the background on the left of this photo, but there's got to be a better view out there somewhere.

I'm guessing the route changes being alluded to might be not crossing Westminster Bridge, but if so I don't know how that'll affect the rest of the route.

For example, will it still come back over the river on Waterloo Bridge and then into Lincoln Inn Fields. Anyone know?

Is Hyde Park usually the best starting point? If anyone can advise the best places for pics it would be great.

Totally agree Kelsey I rode naked in about 8 rides and was never refused a photo.

You are female? hmmm, nice to welcome you here on the forum, love to know what rider you were on the Bristol Ride!

I'm sure you would, but as my WNBR stories are based on what I learn by talking to the riders about their experiences (as well as my own), I'd rather stay anonymous!

This blog is mostly re-posts, which is typical of what you find on tumblr, but it does include some nice, original photography. The original shots are watermarked so I can't post any samples but that also makes them easy to find amid the cruft.
