The camera is a great idea. The candle is great. But be careful. You gotta use certain types of candles!
Just about anything can work if you're able to tie it into the narrative and create tension for the characters (you & Andrew). I'm assuming this is done against a black background and the puppet masters are dressed all in black? Or is everything visible? Assuming it's all black, you could put black slats up with spaces between, kind of like censorship, but depending on where the audience sits, it allows them a slightly different view. It also also a built up to a reveal.

You did talk about Andrew being ashamed of his boner in the beginning, eventually getting used to it. But what about you? You said you get really aroused, did any of the other actors notice you getting wet? Were you ever ashamed of being visibly wet during a rehearsal or a performance, and did the others comment on that?

My husband probably would not have let me, but I expressed to my husband how much the dancer guy turned me on when I was on the pole with him. I said that I wished I could do him. So he knew what i wanted even though I was drunk by that later hour. It was all in fun for me, and the dancer guy.

There are no longer bans on meetings in many countries. Has the group resumed its activities? Has anything about it moved forward in the last year? Has the group disbanded, has someone new joined?
