I discovered a trove of new pics from the 2015 running. There's too many to post here (about 100 total) unless members want me to.

First up is apparently some kind of pre-race entertainment. Don't know if this is a student or a stripper - or both!

I've been on a search for more Roskilde material but haven't found anything new. Along the way i found some more pics from 2012. They look to be from the same set/photographer as the above post. This event will return on friday for the first time in three years, since theres no restrictions left in Denmark. Weather promising for this time of the year, so chances of a good turnout.

As we know a lot can change in three years, so let's hope they've kept the naked run tradition.

Some nice girls this year. And more than usual but also a lot more sausage. Guess people have missed these kind of events. No nice pictures out yet without watermark though. Will keep you updated

The 2023 edition of this event happened earlier today. It looks like there were at least 3-4 females who participated, although it seems like there were probably fewer than in some previous years. Although it's tough to say, as in keeping with what seems to have become tradition, photographers focused almost exclusively on the males. Even the videos I came across were edited in such a way so that you'd think it was a male-only event, which is why I'm not linking any.

Still, I came up with a handful of worthwhile pics. It's a shame we didn't get more/better pics of the female winner shown in the first pic.

And I am once again asking that if anyone can figure out how to coax larger sizes out of //spotted.stiften.dk/gallerier/kapsejladsen-2023#1328034, please send me a PM. It would come in handy not only for this year, but for years past, where there are some amazing pics trapped in 608x406.

I've tried to find higher res versions of those images, as the source URL notes they are indeed resized, but I haven't had any luck. I'll keep trying.

Unfortunately, coverage of this event, not just the naked run, but also the main event gets worse and worse by the media, even though the event has never been bigger than now. Don't know why.

As this year's edition approaches, I've been doing a bit of backtracking this week, going over all the old sources and search terms with a fine-tooth comb to see if there's anything we missed. I'm not going to say that I struck gold, but I did come across some fresh, interesting content from a mostly overlooked year.

What I do like about this series is that we get some good shots of the female competitors post-race, whereas often it seems like the photographers conspicuously avoid getting shots of them until after they've dressed. It probably doesn't hurt that one of the girls doesn't seem to be in any hurry to cover up.

Here's the rest of them. I should note that most of these images are pretty small, but I think they're just large enough to make the cut to be worth posting here.

As a bonus, I found and added a pretty decent video of the race. Like most of these videos, we don't get much more than a fly-by view of the naked runners. But at least this one gives us a little better angle, with a little more prolonged look at them as they pass by. The last two pics are screenshots.

They came up with a new stupid idea this year of, "hey, let the guys start the run 20 seconds before the girls, so all the photographers and journalists focus will be on the guys and nobody gives a s*** about the girls running".
