Whoops, so it is, that's not actually living in the UK for you, no diaries with Bank Holiday dates, just something someone told me! Never mind, the dates are correct, the Holiday Weekend is not!:o:o

I think keeping it 1 thread for the U.K. is about right. We'll probably be cross-referencing women from the different rides, and that'll be easier to reference by post number inside one thread than by a slew of links to different threads.

It kicks off at Pompey (i.e. Portsmouth) on Saturday 26th of May!

Hoping for a greater turnout this time & less distress from the local folk. It's just a peaceful ride, and far less offensive than protesters burning your country's flag in the streets ;)

Perfect weather, reasonable turnout, few women, no noteworthy incident - that's to summarise today's Portsmouth ride! Southern regulars should be there at Southampton and Brighton... Not many pics out there, but that's to prove it almost looked like an exclusively male ride ;)

Just a reminder that the Manchester WNBR is on the Friday evening, Facebook has 150+ riders saying they will ride with another 50 'maybe'. Of the confirmed riders, almost 70 are female students, so it might be a cracking event! The weather is fine (but not hot), hopefully some OCC members will be in town and take some photos?

The Portsmouth ride was a real 'Cockfest', which is why photos here are short on the ground. It had 2 naked females, three topless ones and 70 guys!

A few more ones from Portsmouth last saturday. Remember that the first big UK ride (with a high female student ratio too) is in Manchester this evening. The weather is not brilliant, but it has not stopped a good turn out in the past.

The FB page from Manchester is full of talk of a great ride, I just cannot find any photos up yet! Come on, it finished 3 hours ago, so much for a superhighway!

Frankly, that'd surprise me. I don't think the organisers got the event 'tanked', but it somewhat ended up differently, just like City won the Premiership this year :confused:

Probably my two favorite photo of the young blond at the Manchester event - both showing her very willingly being photographed - once by a crowd including her young friends, and once with the pair of them.

When the three of them first turned up I thought they were nothing to do with WNBR and it was sheer coincidence they turned up in the park then, then that they'd just do it in bikinis (as a quartet of young ladies who arrived later on did) but she sat on the ground, at the edge of the crowd rather than hidden away in the middle, and matter-of-factly undressed

I am afraid I (and the ride FB pages) agree, it is looking a poor weekend AGAIN! in the UK.

London once again might just be OK, but the other days say rain AND strong winds! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR:mad::mad::mad:

For sure, poor weather will increase the 'cockfest' quota, a trend that has been pretty much the norm, so far this year:(:(

So is taking photos of these sorts of things perfectly legal? I'm not quite sure where the laws get drawn on this sort of thing. I'm assuming the law is turning a blind eye to the illegal practice of exposing oneself in public, does this mean it also is turning a blind eye to the illegal practice of taking voyeuristic photographs?

If I might just correct a misconception there, being naked in public is not illegal in the UK at least there is no law prohibiting public nudity , an offence only occurs when someone makes a complaint that they felt threatened harassed alarmed or distress by seeing the nudity. I would think, but I am not certain, that given this is a well organized and publicised event anyone so stating would be dismissed on the grounds that they knew the event was occuring so should not have been in the vicinity while it was underway.

Equally there is no law as far as I am aware in the Uk forbidding the photographing of said naked persons nor of publishing those photographs should you so choose.

Agreed, if you look into a house or private naturist club to take pics, thats voyeurism, but anybody can take pictures in a public place, especially if the people have made the decision to expose themselves in public.

Legally, you are better to stand there openly with a camera , than you would be to try and sneak concealed pictures.
Just make sure all subjects appear over 18

Unfortunately not only the wheaterforecasts for the UK rides are bad, also for The Netherlands, where i wanted to join the Amsterdam ride, the forecasts are bad. 16 degrees, rainy and some winds. :mad::(
Now i'm still hoping the wheater will change.... For last saturday, they also had a bad forecast with rain and only 17/16 degrees but finally whe had a nice dry, partially very sunny day and 19-21 degrees. So who knows?....

I had been a little disappointed to be on holiday in France and missed the rides this year. But as it is high 20's and sunny not so unhappy now. Also got to see a naked sunbather unexpectedly whilst canoeing this week.

So glad that the weather is looking ok for London on Saturday. I will be joining as usual armed with my camera (speaking of which, I still have videos from the last one that I have yet to show.. But good things come to those who wait).

I hope other people will do their duty towards this good cause too (i mean that both seriously and candidly of course).

A few more pics from Manchester. Firstly a couple more of the young blond - the queue of men, naked and dressed, who wanted to be photographed with her was lengthy! She reminded me of the lass in London WNBR 2011 with her very tall boyfriend, who similarly ended up posing for pics with many people.

Secondly, the two topless young women nearest the cameras - quite the reverse from the blond in their modesty - they only removed their tops as the ride actually set off. I'd love to see a photo of the two of them posed before they set off but they did it so quickly I'd be surprised if there are any

Well London is looking the only 'good bet' (18C sunny but breezy) guys (although Bristol has an outside chance too) as Southampton this evening has 14C and gale force winds:eek: and Brighton (my fave ride that was looking brilliant with loads of nude running etc. and a student nude feeder ride from the Uni) looks a bit of a loss. The forecast is mixed, but expect 16C and possible rain, but at least no wind.:(:( I just hope the Solstice ride has better weather, last year it and Brighton suffered the same wet and cold type of day.

She came fully expecting to be the nude centre of attention and got exactly what she expected! The two girls standing either side of her in the last shot are her college friends who went along to support her...shame she did not persuade them to join her!
