I used to go to Lighthouse Beach fairly regularly in the 80s and 90s, with my first wife. The regulars there would self-police other users, politely but firmly warning people engaging in overt sexual behavior that it wasn't cool, that access was always in jeopardy, and that there were lots of family groups who used the beach. It sounds like that has gone by the wayside. BTW, you could always see the beach if you went up in the lighthouse. There were warning signs alerting people to the presence of nude bathers, too. There were always parades of gawkers going by, but as long as no one tried to take pictures, it was accepted as part of the cost of being there. I did see one tourist have his camera ripped from his neck and thrown into the water. Other times, someone would grab a camera, open the back, and expose the film. This was before digital cameras, obviously. :D

Is all beaches on FI now non nude or just the lighthouse beach at Robert moses?

Have you been to either of those beaches? That "constituency" doesnt bother me, but which would be more female and male beach goers LOL
