Could be a recitation class with a grad student doing the teaching. Those classes tend to be pretty small. Or a late night refresher before an upcoming exam?

I'll bet some real teaching is going on. But sure, the nudity is probably not officially sanctioned.

Wow, awesome find! Probably not a real class, but very cool casual nudity in a classroom setting!

I just watched the first vid and it seems pretty clear it is a real class. In fact, the camera spends most of the time focused on the prof, and there is also sound that shows he is really teaching. Its all very matter of fact and academic, like no nudity is happening at all.

Meanwhile, a quick pan of the students shows one woman taking off her shirt (see below).

Ho hum......just another day of physics class with classmates disrobing all around you. This kind of thing used to happen only at Beatles concerts.

I can't seem to get that clipboard sitting in my lap to lie flat. Something is stirring....

I think it is a real class, but not a sanctioned class. Like an extra curricular activity. I think best case its a TA who made a bet with the students or something.

Still, fun to speculate. Wish we could see more of the girls.

You are probably pretty close - a late night, unscheduled, TA session or refresher for a exam.

Wonder how they did. I'd have flunked.

I would like to announce our first lecturer. He will be lecturing on powder mechanics and powder flow; demonstrations will be included. The lecture will take place Thursday April 1st, starting at 11:59pm, in MIT room 6-120.
The rules for the lecture series are provided below. And, as always, please pass on this email to anyone you think would be interested in attending or giving a lecture.

RULES
1) The lecturer must be naked, except for a pair of socks for dignity. The audience may in any various state of undress
2) You must have showered within the 24hrs preceding the lecture.
