Using WinRAR
 

It's slow because the way you're viewing them, it' shaving to open the whole file and decompress it to extract the pic you're viewing.

I "think" that by default, WinRAR gloms itself onto your Right-Mouse Options. If so, choose to EXTRACT them to a folder. Then, view them from THAT folder.

If the Right-Mouse thing isn't an option, you should be able to EXTRACT from within the WinRAR window's tools.

There are a few rock-solid freeware file-splitting utilities available that you could use to split these and post separately in zip form. If you need help with the process, please PM me.
