I have noticed a problem with watermarks. Photos that are I guess what we can call Public Domain are being downloaded, watermarked and then uploaded.

I have quite a few photos that have no watermarks but a site, which I don't even think exists anymore watermarked a bunch of Public Domain photos as something I think called timekillers or some such. So I can no longer post them.

It is unfair to us if we post a photo in good faith and some lowlife decides to watermark a photo that they had no involvement with but decided they were going to add a watermark and call the photo their own.

Some people are just selfish dirt that have some very odd presonal problems. I mean who watermarks a photo that is not theirs?

Douchebag shitbirds who are trying to make money from pictures they didn't pay for, that's who!

I hate that practice as well - it is offensive to every ex-gf who posed for a free picture and didn't consent to be turned into a professional model for some russian website...
